Christmas Elf Activities

Made by www.enchantedhomeschoolingmom.org

Thank you for downloading my Christmas Elf Activities to use with your family’s Christmas Elf this year. I have included a few things to help you out this year:

o Parent Instructions with a supply list (these pages) o Letter from Santa announcing the arrival of your family’s Christmas Elf o Envelope for Santa’s announcement letter o Elf Report (print and use 1 per child per night) o Calendar for Thanksgiving through Christmas 2013 o Elf Activity Cards (cut them out and fold them in half)

LETTER FROM SANTA/ENVELOPE PARENT INSTRUCTIONS The intent of the Santa Letter is to accompany the arrival of your family’s Christmas Elf to start the Christmas Elf Activities. My family’s tradition is to start the adventures with the arrival the day after Thanksgiving and then concludes on Christmas Eve. After you create the envelope, insert the Santa Letter in side it (fold how you wish) and place it next to your Christmas Elf on the first day with the first activity. ELF REPORT PARENT INSTRUCTIONS Please use the Elf Report to let your child know how they are doing. I intend to place the Elf Reports next to our family’s Elf the following day with the day’s activity set-up. CALENDAR PARENT INSTRUCTIONS I provided a calendar that spans Thanksgiving through Christmas 2013 so that I can take my notes and plan out our family’s activities. This way I am not scrambling the night before to set something up and can hopefully make it a fun experience. Because of the calendar I have provided 26 different Christmas Elf Activities. The calendar is blank so that you can have whichever activity you wish on whatever day works best for your family. I have also included blank cards so that you can do more or different activities as well. ELF ACTIVITY CARD PARENT INSTRUCTIONS Please use the Elf Activity Card descriptions below to guide you when doing your Christmas Elf Activities! To help make things a little easier I have also included a supply list at the end of the descriptions. There are also blank cards for you to use for your own activities as well. Ball Room Card will say – Yey! Eating candy all day and playing in a ball room, listening to Christmas carols, these are the best parts of Christmas right! Did you like playing in your ball room? Supplies Needed – Red, Green, and White Balloons – blown up Set-Up – Place you Elf some place near your children’s rooms so they can find their Elf when they get up in the morning.

Dear Family,

Ho, Ho, Ho! It is that time of year when I send your family Elf to you in order to help me keep track of who is being naughty and nice. I hope that you can have fun this year while remaining on the Nice List so that when I come to visit you on Christmas Eve a present left is what you will receive.

Each day your family’s Elf will watch over your family to make sure that you are doing your chores, finishing your homework, having fun, spreading the Christmas cheer, and being good. Then, each night your family’s Elf will report back to me at the North Pole so that I can keep my Naughty and Nice Lists up to date and ready for the big night.

And remember, each morning your family’s Elf will return to you and will bring a fun, Christmas time activity with them for you to do when and if you find them, so please have some fun playing Christmas Hide ‘N’ Seek with your family’s Elf this year!

Merry Christmas,

Santa Claus Naughty or Nice
