When do we use each tense?
Simple Present permanent states
daily routines or habits
programmes or timetables Example: I go to school every day.
Present Continuous actions happening now
with “always” to express annoyance
fixed arrangements in the near future Example: I am studying now.
Simple Past complete actions at a stated time in the
past (they started and finished in the past)
actions that happened repeatedly in the past but don’t happen any more
