TEAM


Prior to having ventured out on his own to establish ASL, Appolos, an admitted legal practitioner of the High Court of Namibia served as a Senior Legal Officer at the Office of the Government Attorney where he was mainly tasked with appearing at the High Court and at lower courts on behalf of the various Government of Namibia Ministries, Agencies, institutions, and employees on a variety of legal matters.

Appolos holds a B.Juris and an LLB Honours Degree from the University of Namibia and is expected to obtain a Masters Degree in Information Technology Law in 2018, with the University of South Africa.

Appolos also served in the corporate / private sector space, where he consulted in the areas of labour law, criminal law, matrimonial matters, motor vehicle accident claims, and wills/estates amongst others. Appolos also served at the Ministry of Justice, Legal Aid directorate, where he appeared and represented clients in criminal cases at the lower courts.

In May 2017, Appolos was selected to attend the highly acclaimed Holland & Knight lawyer trainee programme intended for young lawyers to sharpen their legal skills. At Holland & Knight, Appolos was mentored by renowned lawyer, Mr. Stephen W. Snively, a senior partner at the law firm in Orlando, Florida.

Through his legal engagements in the corporate and public sector space, Appolos has been exposed to judicial systems in South Africa, India, China and the USA, after having visited the said countries through various exchanges and conferences.


Vesora holds an LLB Honours Degree from the University of Namibia and is currently pursuing a Masters of Laws Degree through Unicaf University, Zambia. She is employed as a Candidate Legal Practitioner at ASL. She mostly deals with matters in the areas of criminal law, copyright law, family law, law of contract etcetera. Vesora has diverse legal exposure as she has previously served as a legal intern at Namibia Trade Forum, Namibia Competition Commission as well as at two Namibian law firms. At ASL, Vesora is tasked with drafting of legal documents as well as appearing and representing clients in the lower courts.

Vesora Kaurimuye


Robert holds an LLB Honours Degree from the University of Namibia where he also got the Best Student Award. He is currently employed as a Candidate Legal Practitioner at ASL and mostly deals with matters in the areas of criminal law, administrative law, family law, labour law etcetera. Being an avid researcher, he has served as an executive editor for the University of Namibia’s Law Review. He has also participated in international moot court competitions, and was further tasked to draft the Guide to Elections Observation Manual in Namibia in 2014. In addition, Robert previously served as a Candidate Legal Practitioner at the Legal Assistance Centre.

At ASL, Robert represents clients in the lower courts as well as attend to drafting of legal documents.

PRACTITIONER


Silas holds a Bachelor of Criminal Justice in Policing from the Namibia University of Science and Technology. He is currently employed as a legal secretary at ASL. He provides the necessary support and ensures efficiency for the team. Silas is also currently pursuing an LLB Honours Degree at the University of Namibia, and assists with legal research.
