Lynn Hotel is a hotel with a three-star class facilities. Consisting of 99 rooms equipped with pool on innercourt,

this hotel offers a compact space program, in accordance with the target users who mostly are tourists in

Yogyakarta. Situated in Jogokaryan which is part of the cultural heritage of the Kraton, the facade of the

building is designed to reect the Indische Architecture Style. Beside being known as a con-servation area,

Jogokaryan also popular with its Islamic religious nuances, and this was applied in using some Islamic

ornament pattern which integrated with the Indische style elegantly.

UMAGA’SCAFE

This 60 meter square café located at Ruko Kemang Pratama, Bekasi,

West Java is placed near student neighborhood area, set for special

easy breakfast. Aimed for local consument mostly student near area for

spare time comfort place to friends chat, a cup of coffee , and simple

food. This comfort low prole place with the ambient of rustic pinewood

and expose white brick natural nished materials, also greenboard and

stencil graphic around the wall to create sense place of classic class

room.

DRILCHEMOFFICEIn the beginning, Drilchem Ofce which specialized in Earth Sciences,proposed an interior design using rough materials and contrast colour.

Those were applied to some interior’s elements, both constructive and

decorative. Rough materials are used in vertical plane such as the wall,

where the chosen materials are stone and stucco. The contrast colour is

used in a plane which having a contact in one or more sides, such as

between a wall and oor, or ceiling and oor. Some natural materials are

also used in interior elements, especially the cabinet and desk units, which

use pine wood material from Wonosobo.

Griya Shanta is an exclusive boarding house, with the target user are

university students. Situated in Griya Shanta Residence complex, Brawijaya

University district, Malang, this boarding house have 10 rooms + 1 guard room,

equipped with parking facilities for 10 motorcycles and carport up to 3 cars.

With a relatively small area, Griya Shanta was built in 2 stories with a void that

divides the two sides of the building. At the lowest level there is an innercourt,

having vegetation elements that support for natural air-circulation for the

building.

LOCATION

The regularity of learning process in this project is

presented through the application of modern and

environmentally design’s principles. Privacy needs

and openings for comfortable learning activities

becomes major focus in this design process. To

create a fresh learning atmosphere , light and air

circulation are made easier to penetrate into the

whole buiding’s rooms through combination of

several elements: skylights, void, and openings. The

modern style is expressed in the building’s facade

through the exploration of wood, stone, and

concrete which has a uniform geometric pattern.

GRIYA MURTIBOARDING

HOUSE

Interior of Griya Murti which located at Jatinangor, Bandung, West Java is build to support

the main buildings function as a luxury student boarding place. The interior concept for

Library and Reception area are Formal Modern Space with clean cut and bright natural

colours combination. Wood accent is arrange placed as furniture colour, combine with

leather puff. Window glass opening is dominate the space as natural day light source. Its

ne nice place to reading and studying.

Menteng apartment interior uses black and white concept combined

with modern-artdeco style. Black and white color creates the

impression of contrast and exclusivity. Due to space limitations that

exist, the use of furniture using the built-in types, such as bed and

kitchen sets, which aims to improve the efciency of space.

Characteristic at room apartments is the use of black and white

wallpaper with a oral theme almost throughout the room.

Situated in Tangerang CBD (Central Business

District), the Jasmine Garden was designed for a

great investment choice. There are 3 types of

residential townhouse concept, type 100, 110, and

120, and those are equipped with a clubhouse

facility. The design of this residental area use some

natural materials with modern processed, such

jogja’s sandstone which is combined with metal

material in same color. Exploration of natural wood

and glass materials are also applied to the type of

home corner, type 120. Jasmine Garden stands in

an area of 1.5 hectares, with a total of 70

townhouses.
