    The expansion joint is an elastic component mounted onpipes and heat exchangers in order to take over the thermalexpansion.

    Expansion capacity depends on:- The elasticity of the flexible component;- The number of lens;- The pre-stressing in the mounting process

    The use of the expansion joins ensures:- Decreasing of the tensions generated by the temperaturedifferences;- Economical dimensioning of the fixed points;- Reliability and safety in operation.

    Capacitatea de compensare este dependent de:- Elasticitatea elementului lenticular;- Num rul de lentile;- Pretensionarea la montaj. Utilizarea compensatoarelor lenticulare de dilata ieasigur :- diminuarea tensiunilor generate de diferen ele detemperatur ;- dimensionarea economic a punctelor fixe;- fiabilitate i siguran n exploatare.

    Compensatoarele lenticulare de montaj sunt armturideformabile axial, care se fixeaz pe sistemele de conducte nscopul uurrii montrii i nlocuirii accesoriilor de tubulatur.

    n general se utilizeaz pentru:- sisteme de conducte prin care sunt vehiculate fluide reci;- instalaii pentru alimentri cu ap sau irigaii.

    Mai pot fi utilizate pentru compensarea unor mici abateri demontaj ale tubulaturii prin deplasri axiale. Nuse recomand utilizarea lor pentru compensarea dilataiilor termice.

    Mounting expansion joints are axial deformable fittingsprovided in the pipe systems for easy and quick replacement oftube system components.Generally they are used for:- p i p e s y s t e m s t h r o u g h w h i c h c o l d f l u i d sare circulated;- water supply and irrigation installations.

    They may also be used to compensate small erectiondeviations of the pipe due to the axial movements. It is notrecommended to be utilised in compensating of thermalexpansion.
