Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Process
I. Register
（1）Registered address：http://cis.chinese.cn

（2）Registration function is in the center left. Click “注册账户 Register”.
（3）Go to the registration page，you will see:
Tick in the box, then click "Continue" to enter the registration page.

（4）Fill in registration information.
"*" is required, if not fill out , it cannot be submitted!
Applicants from Slovenia should choose”斯洛文尼亚/SVN”，applicants from other
countries can send email to CI office to confirm your nationality.
Choose from different studying category.

Select correct choices according to your own situation.
（5）Receive mail to get your username and password.

II. Login
Fill in username,password and code to log in .
III. Change/ retrieve the password.
（1） Change the password .
Log in the homepage,click your username at top right.

Fill in your old password and new password ,then click “修改”。
（2） Retrieve the password
On the login page ,click on the "忘记密码 Forget Password"
Fill in the registered email, click on "ok", please check back after the
password email.

IV. Apply
（1） Enter the application page to fill in the application form.
Read “Illustrate” first ,then click on “Next”.

（2） Fill in basic information.
"*" is required, if not fill in, you cannot do saving operation.
If you don’t have a Chinese name, please ask the Chinese teacher for help.

If you are the applicant with specific agreements of Hanban’s, or the
“Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competitions winner, or you apply
the program of the Division of Teachers of Hanban, you have 8 choices.
For the other applicants, you have 5 choices.
“Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competitions winner or with specific
agreements with Hanban’s should upload winners’ cetificate and letters of
recommendation.
If you apply MTCSOL, you should upload two letters of recommendation.

If you apply Four–week study, you can choose five courses.
If you apply One–semester or One-Academic-Year study, you have 10 choices.

I understand the purpose of Confucius institute scholarship, and voluntarily
apply for master's degree in TCSOL. If i can get the fund, will cherish the
honour, and solemnly promise Hanban/Confucius institute headquarter as
follows:
1. During my stay in China shall abide Chinese laws and regulations, obey school
rules and regulations, study hard, finish school with good grades.
2. If not reach the annual work requirements, I will obey the decision of losing or
stopping Confucius institute scholarship.
3. Ensure that engaged in Chinese teaching at least five years after graduation.
