1. System RequirementsCAYIN CMS Station is an APP especially designed to run on QNAP NAS. Before

installing the software, you need to acquire a QNAP NAS. Please refer to the ap-

pendix and choose a suitable NAS from the compatibility list before you install

CAYIN CMS Station.

2. Software Installation

2.1 Preparing for the InstallationStep 1 Log in QNAP NAS' web administration page. You have to create a user

account to use QNAP NAS services. Should you have any questions

about this step, please refer to QNAP NAS' manual.

Step 2 Go to the App Center of the NAS.

2.2 Installing CAYIN CMS StationStep 1 Locate the icon of CAYIN CMS Station and click the Install button. Then,

the system will start to install the APP automatically.

Step 2 Click the Open button under the icon of CAYIN CMS Station in the App

Center.

Step 3 You will see the configuration page of CMS Station.

CPU Limit You can keep the default setting (100%).

Memory Limit Please reserve at least 2000 MB memory.

MAC Address You can check the MAC address here.

Network Interface Click the drop-down menu and select a network inter-face. Then, choose to use either DHCP or static IP based on your needs.

Data Storage Click the drop-down menu and select a partition to store all multimedia files and resources.

Step 4 Click Apply after you complete all settings. If the status changes from

Stopped to Running, it means CAYIN CMS Station has been installed

successfully. You can start to use the digital signage server software. Click

the URL below the word Running, and you will go to the login page of

Web Manger, the management interface of CAYIN CMS Station.

Step 5 The APP you just installed is the trail version of CAYIN CMS Station. You still

need to go to License Center to purchase and activate SMP licenses

based on the number of SMP players you need to manage in your proj-

ect.

The trial software allows you to test all functions, including those in CMS-PRO, but this CMS server can only manage ONE SMP player.

Please note that you can't use CMS-PRO's functions anymore if you only purchase SMP licenses without CMS-PRO. Once your SMP licenses are purchased and acti-vated, CMS-PRO's functions will be removed from CMS' management interface.

3. Software ActivationWhen you first install and run CAYIN CMS Station, you will be in the trial mode.

Please follow the steps below to purhcase and activate SMP connection licenses.

Step 1 Go to License Center on web administration page of QNAP NAS.

Step 2 Go to Software Store and locate CAYIN CMS Station in the drop-down

menu. Click Buy and select a suitable license for you. You can make a

one-time purchase or choose an annual license to pay a subscription

fee every year. Then, click Next.

Step 3 Go to My Licenses and click the Add button. Select the license you

just bought and click Add to activate the license. Then, you will see the

activated license listing in the table on the My Licenses page.

Before activating CMS-PRO, you must activate an SMP connection license.

NOTE

If the license options in the License Center cannot fit your needs, you can con-

tact CAYIN directly to buy suitable licenses. In this case, you need to activate the

software directly on CMS' Web Manager. For detailed instructions, please refer to

CMS-SE's online help: Getting Started (CMS-SE) > Activation.

4. Web Manager LoginBefore using functions of CAYIN CMS Station, you need to log in its management

interface, Web Manager. The default login username and password are:

• Default Username: administrator

• Default Password: admin

There are three ways to open the login page of Web Manager:

4.1 Open from QNAP NASStep 1 Open CAYIN CMS Station. After the software is installed and configured

successfully, there are two ways to open CAYIN CMS Station:

• Click the APP icon of CAYIN CMS Station on the Desktop.

• Click the Open button under the icon of CAYIN CMS Station in the

App Center.

Step 2 Locate the URL below the word, Running. Click the URL; then, you will go

to the login page of Web Manger.

4.2 Open from CAYIN Device SeekerStep 1 Download CAYIN Device Seeker from the link: https://www.cayintech.

com/support/downloads.html. Then, install the software on your PC.

Step 2 Click Seek and the seeker will search all available SMP players and CMS

servers in the same LAN.

If your PC and CMS servers are not in the same LAN, the Device Seeker cannot function properly. Please open a browser and enter the IP address of the CMS server. After successful login, you can start to manage the device.

NOTE

Step 3 If you want to open the user interface of the management console,

select one device and double click the device's name. Or, you can also

click a device's name, and click Open Web.

Step 4 If you want to update contents into the device, select the device you

want to connect, and click Open Folder. Then you can open the Media

Folder of the device and update contents via Network Shares (Network

Neighborhood).

4.3 Open from a browser

If you use Static IP address as your network setting, you can open a browser on

PC and type http://ip_address in the address bar to access Web Manager.

5. Online HelpCAYIN CMS Station User’s Guide provides more detailed information of all

features. If you have questions about any specific function, please log in Web

Manager, go to the configuration page of that specific function and click HELP

on top of the window. Then the system will show you the reference information of

that function.

1. 系統需求CAYIN CMS Station是一個需安裝在 QNAP NAS裡執行的 APP軟體，所以您必須先

購買 QNAP NAS，然後由它的 App Center安裝軟體。請參閱附錄的相容硬體清單，

挑選一台適合的 NAS。

2. 安裝軟體

2.1 安裝前的準備步驟 1 登入 QNAP NAS 的線上管理頁。在使用 QNAP NAS的服務前，您必須先建

立一個使用者帳戶。若您對於這個步驟有任何問題，請參考 QNAP NAS的

使用手冊。

步驟 2 前往 NAS 的 App Center。

CPU 限制您可以維持預設值 (100%)。

記憶體限制請保留至少 2000 MB 記憶體空間。

MAC 位址您可以在這裡查看 MAC 位址。

網路介面點擊下拉選單並選擇一個網路介面。然後，依您的需求使用 DHCP 或固定 IP。

資料儲存空間點擊下拉選單並選擇一個磁區儲存所有的多媒體檔案與資源。

步驟 4 完成所有設定後，點擊套用。若軟體狀態由已停止改為運作中，代表

CAYIN CMS Station 已經成功安裝完畢，您可以開始使用該數位看板伺服器

軟體。點擊位於運作中字樣下方的網址後，您將可以前往 CMS Station 的

管理介面—Web Manger 的登入頁。

步驟 5 目前為止您所安裝的軟體為 CAYIN CMS Stationd 的試用版，您仍需要前往

授權中心購買並啟用 SMP 連線管理憑證，請依您專案需求購買適合的 SMP

憑證數量。

試用版軟體能讓您試用所有功能，包括 CMS-PRO的進階管理功能，但是該 CMS伺服器只能管理一台 SMP播放器。

請注意，若您在購買授權時沒有購買 CMS-PRO，一旦 SMP憑證經購買並啟用後，CMS-PRO的進階管理功能將會由管理介面移除，您將無法再使用CMS-PRO的功能。

3. 啟用軟體當您首次安裝並執行 CAYIN CMS Station ，該軟體為試用版。請依下列步驟購買並

啟用 SMP 連線授權憑證。

步驟 1 前往 QNAP NAS管理頁上的授權中心。

步驟 2 前往 Software Store 並在選單中找到 CAYIN CMS Station。點擊購買並選

擇一個適合的授權方式。您可以一次買斷或選擇支付年費的方式購買。然

後，點擊下一步。

步驟 3 前往我的授權頁，然後點擊加入按鈕。選擇您剛剛購買的授權項目，並點

擊加入來啟用授權。完成後，您將可以看到已啟用的授權項目列在我的授

權頁內的表格。

啟用 CMS-PRO 之前，您必需先啟用 SMP 連線授權。

注意

若授權中心內的授權選項不符合您的需求，您可以直接聯繫鎧應購買適當的授權方

式。若採用此方式，您必須至 CMS的管理介面 Web Manager 啟用軟體，而無法

4. 登入 Web Manager在您開始使用數位看板伺服器軟體各功能之前，必須先登入 CAYIN CMS Station 的

管理介面— Web Manager。預設的登入使用者名稱與密碼為 :

• 預設的使用者名稱：administrator

• 預設的密碼：admin

以下介紹三種開啟 Web Manager 登入頁的方法。

4.1 由 QNAP NAS 開啟步驟 1 開啟 CAYIN CMS Station 。當軟體安裝並設定完成後，可透過下列兩種方

式開啟 CAYIN CMS Station：

• 點擊桌面上的 CAYIN CMS Station 軟體圖示。

• 在 App Center 裡，點擊 CAYIN CMS Station 下方的開啟按鈕。

步驟 2 找到運作中字樣下方的網址，點一下該連結，您將會開啟 Web Manger 的

登入頁。

4.2 由 CAYIN Device Seeker 開啟步驟 1 由下列連結下載鎧應裝置搜尋器 (CAYIN Device Seeker): https://www.cayin-

tech.com/tw/support/downloads.html。然後將該軟體安裝在您的電腦裡。

步驟 2 點擊 Seek，軟體將搜尋相同的子網路端點中可用的 SMP播放器及 CMS伺

服器裝置。

若您的個人電腦與 SMP播放器或 CMS伺服器不在同一區域網路中，Device Seeker將無法正常運作。請開啟瀏覽器，並在位址列中鍵入 SMP播放器或 CMS伺服器的 IP位址。成功登入後，您就可以開始管理該裝置。

注意

步驟 3 若您想要開啟任一裝置的 Web Manager管理介面，雙擊該裝置的名稱即

可建立連線。您也可以先點選該裝置的名稱，然後點擊 Open Web。

步驟 4 若您想要更新內容至任一裝置，請先選擇欲連結的裝置名，然後點擊

Open Folder。如此，您將可以開啟該裝置的多媒體檔案夾，經由網路芳

鄰上傳檔案。

4.3 由瀏覽器開啟

若您使用固定 IP 位址為網路設定，可以在個人電腦上打開瀏覽器，於網址列直接鍵

入伺服器的 http://ip_address ，即可開啟 Web Manager。

5. 線上說明CAYIN CMS Station的線上使用說明能提供所有功能的詳盡解說。若您對於某項功
