Mr. Lam is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. Mr. Lam graduated from the University of Waterloo, Canada in 2001 with a Bachelor of Actuarial Science degree. He has experience in both direct and reinsurance companies. Started his career in Toronto, Canada, Mr. Lam has worked in insurance companies in both Canada and Hong Kong. Mr. Lam joined Swiss Re since 2006, where his primary role includes pricing for life and health products, product development as well as client management for the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets. Speaker Yong Hao Pu Managing Director Head of Wealth Management Research APAC and Chief Regional Economist of UBS Wealth Management and Business Banking Yong Hao, Pu, head Wealth Management Research Asia-Pacific and chief regional economist at UBS Wealth Management, is responsible for Asian economic analysis and forecasts. As one of the members of the Investment Committee, he makes a direct contribution to UBS Wealth Management and Business Bankings overall investment strategy. Before joining UBS, Yonghao Pu worked for Cazenove (Asia) as head of Asian economics. From 2002 until 2003, he was a senior consultant to the Asian Development Bank, leading a team in the Economic Monitoring Unit. Prior to that, Yonghao Pu was senior economist at Nomura International (HK) and Bank of China International (UK). He was contributed numerous articles to publications such as The wall Street Journal, Financial Times, International Economy, Cato Journal, The Banker, etc. Yonghao Pu has also been invited to speak on Asian Economic issues at major economic events including the World Economic Forum, OECD Conference, and China Summit.
