사이드게이트 SIDE GATE
일반 센터 게이트(Center Gate) 대비 기계적 물성과 생산성을 향상시키고, 경량화를 가능하게 하는 현대성우메탈의 핵심 기술입니다. 사이드로 용탕을 주입해 하형 금형 온도를 낮추고, 수냉에 의해 빠르게 냉각시켜 생산성 증대에 도움을 줍니다. 에쿠스, 제네시스, 쏘렌토 등의 차종에 적용되었습니다.
The side gate is Hyundai Sungwoo Metal’s core technology that enables the ability to lighten the products and improve productivity and mechanical properties compared to the conventional center gate. It is used to conventional reduce the mold and bottom-part temperatures and to freeze it with cold water which improves productivity. This is applied to several car models including Equus, Genesis and Sorento.
플로우포밍 FLOW FORMING
림부의 조직 치밀화를 통해 5퍼센트 가량 제품을 경량화시키는 기술입니다. 에쿠스, 제네시스, 쏘렌토, K5 등 다수의 차종에 적용되어 안전한 자동차 생활을 실현하고 있습니다.
This technology helps to lighten the products by 5% through densifying the rim section. This technology has proven its effectiveness on bringing about a safer driving environment through being applied to several car models including Equus, Genesis, Sorento, and K5.
중공 알로이 휠 HOLLOW ALLOY WHEEL
알루미늄 휠 내부 중공 구조로 중량 및 NVH(Noise, Vibration, Harshness)를 개선하는 기술입니다. 알루미늄 휠 제조 시 공명기 구조를 구현하여 공명 음을 흡음합니다. 이를 통해 타이어와 지면의 마찰에 의해 발생되는 로드 노이즈를 개선할 수 있으며, 부품이 경량화되어 자동차 성능과 승차감을 향상시킬 수 있습니다.
This technology is to improve weight and NVH(Noise, Vibration, Harshness) with the hollow structure inside the aluminum wheel. This absorbs resonance by realizing the resonator (Helmholtz) structure when manufacturing aluminum. This helps improve road noise caused by the friction between the ground and tires, as well as driving performance and comfort due to lightened components.
