• Expand a stretch of NH 4 into four lanes and value additions to the Mumbai - Pune Expressway.

• Covered a cumulative 206 kms of road: 111 kms on NH 4 & 95 kms on the Mumbai - Pune Expressway.

• Granted a concession period of 15 years for both Mumbai-Pune Expressway & NH 4.

• Tolling at Mumbai-Pune Expressway began on August 10, 2004.

• Operate and maintain the facilities during the concession period.

• Total cost of this project is Rs. 13016.40 million (including the upfront fee of Rs. 9180 million paid to MSRDC).

• Aggregate value of the operation and maintenance contract for this project is Rs. 7258.00 million.

• Engaged to expand and improve the Bharuch – Surat section of NH 8 in Gujarat on a BOT basis.

• Required to expand specific sections of the NH 8 into a six–lane highway.

• Also required to make improvements to the existing four–lane highway.

• Commenced work on January 2, 2007 and work has so far progressed as per schedule.

• Tolling commenced from 25th September 2009

• Granted a concession period of 15 years ending on Jan 1, 2022.

• Engaged to expand and improve the Surat-Dahisar section of NH 8 on BOT basis from the existing 4 to 6 lane for a total length of 240 kms.

• Granted concession period is 12 years including the construction period of 30 months.

• Construction of 25 flyovers over various junctions.

• Concession Agreement signed on 30th April 2008.

• Financial closure achieved in January 2009

• Tolling is started from February 20,2009

• Revenue share of 38% to be given to NHAI for the first year and will be increased by 1% year on year.

• Total project cost estimated at Rs. 28.35 billion.

• Engaged to improve the Thane-Ghodbunder section connecting NH 8 with NH 4 and NH3 for a total length of 14.900 kms.

• Granted a concession period of 15 years starting fromJune 2007 with tolling rights.

• Scope of work includes improvement, operation & maintenance of the stretch during the concession period.

• Provided concrete pavement for 4 out of the existing 6 lane road for a length of 7.120 kms; and 6 out of the existing 10 lane road for a length of 3.380 kms.

• Executed 4 nos. of junction improvements, provided 80 nos. of utility ducts & 31 nos. of bus bays.

• Total cost of the project is Rs. 2462.76 million.

• Funded through Equity Rs. 300.00 million.Debt Rs. 2060.00 million.Internal Accruals Rs. 102.76 million.

• First ever Urban Infrastructure project on BOT basis in India was awarded to IRB.

• Granted a concession period of 30 years.

• Construction activity has commenced from January 9, 2009

• All 9 entry points to be tolled post substantial completion of construction.

• The salient aspects of this Kolhapur IRDP are:-

• Residents of the city of Kolhapur plying within the city limits need not pay any toll charge to use the roads.

• Only those vehicles entering or leaving the city will be paying the toll.

• In addition to the concession period, IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. enjoy the following benefits:-

• Commercial plot admeasuring 30,000 sq. mtrs allotted to the company.

• Lease period of this land will be 99 years.

• Financial Closure achieved in September 2009.

Recent Diversifications - Realty

The Company intends to develop Integrated township alongside the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

• Land acquisition of approximately 1250 acres completed and proposed to acquire the balance 150-200 acres in next 6-8 months.

• The Company has received the permission u/s 63-1A(ii) of Mumbai Tenancy and Agricultural Land Act 1946 and its further amendments from the Development Commissioner in April 2009 to purchase 1888.139 acres of land and to establish integrated township.

The Company had submitted its Bid with the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation ('MIDC') for Design, Built, Finance& Operation of Greenfield Airport in Sindhudurg District, Maharashtra (the "Project"). The Company has been declared as the"Selected Bidder" for the Project and a Project Development Agreement has been executed between MIDC and IRB SindhudurgAirport Private Limited ( SPV of IRB ) as on September 25. 2009.

IRB has been awarded CNBC TV 18 Essar Steel Infrastructure Excellence Award in the Highways &Flyovers category for Mumbai - Pune section of National Highways (NH-4).

This award was in recognition of the high quality work implemented on the development andmaintenance of the Mumbai-Pune section of NH-4.
