Introduction ● Operon – Established in 1991 at Gimpo, Korea specialized in the Cryo-

genic Cooling technology & Ultra High Vacuum technology and achieved the lowest interior temperature of -156°C in 2000, utilized in the Conqueror Cryo freezer for plasma cell , ISO certified, CE marked , and KFDA approved.

● The -156°C of Cryogenic cooling systems is International Patent regis-tered in USA(US6, 622, 518 B2), Germany(101 94 530), China(130411), Korea(PCT no.0337791), (Japan-pending) and -203°C of Cryo Cooler Systems(Patent no.:0469537), Centrifugal Vacuum Con-centrator(Patent no.0330734), etc..

● Operon’s “Cryogenic Research Institute” established in 2011 for the first time among domestic Companies.

What is the Amorphous

What is the Amorphous● An amorphous solid is a Solid in

which there is no long-range order of the positions of the atoms.(Solids in which there is long-range atomic order are called crystalline solids or morphous). (-0°C/-20°C,-40°C/-70°C)

● In principle, given a sufficiently high cooling rate, any liquid can be made into an amorphous solid. If the cooling rate is faster than the rate at which mole-cules can organize into a more thermodynamically favorable crystalline state, then an amor-phous solid will be formed.

● At the temperature below than -135°C , re-crystal-lization is not occurs. This is the amorphous status.

● Inorder to maintain the cell temperature lower than -135°C , the Cryo freezer(-140°C ~ -156°C) are re-quired.

● Cryo freezer/ULT freezers – Preserve the stem cell , plasma , valuable samples under the Amorphous sta-tus(-140°C ~ -156°C), laboratory samples(-90°C ~ -40°C) at the bio-tech , life science industries.
