It is hereby informed to all candidates that the Admit Card has been issued along with the necessary
instructions for the screening process for appointment to the post of Scientist / Group-IV under the advertisement
No. CIMFR-01/2019. CSIR-CIMFR will not be responsible for any postal delay, non-deliver due to wrong /
incomplete address and loss & damage in transit inaccessible. All the representations received against the web notice
dated 30.01.2020 of the institute have been disposed off and the candidates have been informed accordingly.
Candidates will ensure their attendance as per the instructions. The date, time, venue & date for mailing request of
the screening process according to the post code is as follows: -

Instructions are again being displayed on the website for information about the candidature. Please
follow the guidelines in Admit Card and spirit to ensure candidature otherwise CSIR-CIMFR reserves the right to
cancel the candidature.
In case of non-receipt of Admit Card by 09/03/2020, the candidate can send a request on the E-mail
([email protected]) by sending a request for Duplicate Admit Card. Please email the request with enclosed
format along with copy of your Valid ID, otherwise the admit card will not be issued. Requests received after
12/03/2020 will not be entertained.

INSTRUCTIONS :-
1. The candidates should report to the CSIR-Central Institute of Mining & Fuel Research, Barwa Road, Dhanbad as per the schedule with Call Letter (in original) along with proof of identity such as AADHAR card/voter photo identity card/Driving License/Passport/PAN Card etc.
2. The presentation and interaction/discussion (Screening Process) will be of Maximum 10 minutes time. The presentation will be of PPT type containing five slides highlighting about self(One Slide), Vision(One slide),Suitability of self for the post(One Slide) and Research activities(Two slides). The candidates called for Screening Process would be required to bring presentation in MS Powerpoint only in CD/Pen Drive of its own.
3. Syllabus: Post Graduation /Ph.D. (level) of relevant subject (Essential Qualification of the Advt.).
4. The Candidates may ensure that they fulfil the conditions/qualifications of the aforesaid advt. as well as the short listing/screening criteria adopted. Candidates will not allowed to be present for Screening Process if it is found during the verification of documents that he/she is not eligible for the post applied for as per the advertisement/Screening criteria adopted. The onus is on the candidate to prove that all the information provided/submitted by him/her in the application form is true.
5. No TA will be permitted to the candidates for appearing for Screening Process.
6. In case a candidate is staying abroad, his/her candidature may be considered only on the
basis of performance in Screening Process through Skype/VC. Such candidates are requested to inform his/her SKYPE/VC ID to this Institute on the email [email protected] latest by 12.03.2020. The Candidates may request to fix his/her convenient for time of presentation as per IST on the date of his/her Screening Process. The suitable time for the candidates (Staying abroad) will be confirmed by the Institute through E-mail. The candidate must enclose the proof of his stay abroad on the date of Screening Process. This Institute will not be responsible for any technical disturbance during the presentation through SKYPE/VC. The Candidates will not be allowed to present on later date/time.
7. Since the eligible candidates appearing for Screening Process will be more in number the Presentation may continue late on the date. Hence, candidates are advised to come prepared to stay late on the Screening Process date.
8. The Screening Committee on the basis of the presentation and interaction/discussion will
screen the candidates for interview with the Selection Committee.
9. The candidate shall not be considered for giving presentation if he/she reports for Screening
Process after the Reporting Time.
10. CSIR-CIMFR, Dhanbad will not be responsible for any delay in transit of this communication.

11. Mere admission and appearance in Screening Process will not confer any right on the
candidature. If at any stage, the information furnished by the candidates is found to be incorrect; their candidature will be rejected summarily without any notice. If any of the above shortcoming(s), is/are detected even after selection, their services are liable to be terminated without any notice.
12. The performance in the Screening Process will not be considered for preparation of the merit
list for the final selection of the candidates.
