CAREER ASPIRATIONS
I continue to develop my interest and competency in all aspects of Foot & Ankle surgery. To expand
my wide experience in routine forefoot and hind foot reconstructive surgery and maintain a special
interest in ankle and hind foot arthroscopic surgery, including tendoscopy.
I routinely perform Ankle and MTP replacement surgery and tendon transfers. I also undertake
deformity correction procedures with frames and maintain an active interest in Ilizarov techniques
of transossoues osteosynthesis.
To continue to develop my competencies in all aspects of general Orthopaedic trauma, in particular
my special interest in peri-articular and peri-prosthetic fractures of the lower limb and complex
foot& ankle injuries.
I have an active interest in limb salvage for major lower limb trauma wand work closely with my
plastic surgical colleagues.
To continue my active involvement in research and teaching. I have presented in both BOFAS &
AOFAS, and have been awarded a BOFAS research grant. I have also won numerous research
prizes.
I have lectured and conducted teaching and training events for a variety of audiences and am
currently on the faculty of F&A instructional courses, and on the AO faculty for trauma courses.
