Current job responsibilities include :

o Brand & Advertising Strategy - Coordinating with Senior Management on a regular basis for developing brand & advertising strategies and ensuring successful implementing of the same; identifying new plans to strengthen internal & external brand communications globally and replicating same through 360 degree campaigns.

o Marketing for clients of consumer Product Groups and responsible for strategy, planning, execution and achievement of marketing linked product business goals. Focus on translating overall revenue and product goals into marketing objectives and delivering results in coordination with marketing channel teams, sales, and product and business line owners.

o Delivery and achievement of business goals delivered through marketing function in consumer products (SAIL Salem stainless steel Products).

o Formulation of Strategy and Management of a marketing budget of Rs.400 Cr. (approx 65 million USD) in the year 2008-09 during SAIL Golden Jubilee Celebrations.

o Experience in leveraging multiple channels across digital, offline, events, content marketing and partnerships at scale to deliver high growth in highly analytical and metrics-driven leadership style - Track record in delivering results with innovative approaches in marketing and customer engagement. - Proven Track record in providing analysis, strategic direction and specific business recommendations to drive business results. - Advanced Experience in the digital and social marketing. - Advanced Experience at driving and delivering hyper growth in mobile app based consumer acquisition and retention strategies.

o Event Management – From planning to execution, handling the National and international exhibitions, events, conference and summits such as World Steel Summit, Steel Conclave, launch of SAIL Jagdishpur Steel Plant in Sultanpur, Lucknow, Visit of H.E. Governor of Virginia, USA at SAIL, many VIP events where Hon’ble President of India / Hon’ble Prime Minister of India were the chief guests.

o End to End Communication Solutions- Developing/ conceptualizing, coordinating and editing various external and internal communication materials such as Corporate magazines, Calendar, Posters, Brochures, Newsletters, Website, Press Material and other publicity requirements.

Scripting for corporate films and drafting of editorials also undertaken.

o Ad Design and Content Creation – Handling SAIL advertising designs running globally for the outdoor advertising.

o Sponsorships and Negotiations – Sponsorship, branding, negotiations with vendors and organizers

o Media Management – handling the media, public relations, image management, and crisis communication.

o Inter-Ministry Liaison – Key contact person for high priority Ministry assignments and events.

Key Contributions and Achievements till date:

Appreciation letter from the Executive Director (Corporate Planning) who was heading the year long activities of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of SAIL in the year 2008-2009 for handling most of the communication activities.

The Department got awarded as the Best Department especially because of the contribution in the year long activities of Golden Jubilee celebrations in the year 2008-09.

Handled and managed all activities envisaged for the Golden Jubilee Activities.

Planning, strategizing & negotiating Gold Coins buying & handling distribution across 1.25 lakh employees of SAIL worth more than Rs.162 Cr (INR 16.2 Billion).

Letter of Appreciation from Chief Vigilance Officer-SAIL (Mr. C.B. Paliwal-I.A.S.) for successfully organizing and managing ‘’The World Anti-Corruption Day-2011” on behalf of Chief Vigilance Commission (CVC).

Organized the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for Modernisation and Expansion Plan of Salem Steel Plant (Guests included Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh, UPA chief- Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and many other Senior Bureaucrats.

46th Annual World Steel Conference- Represented my organization i.e. SAIL in hosting the international conference and handled all planning, strategy and negotiations with the event management company M/s Wizcraft.

Managed SAIL Brand as the Presenting Partner and as the brand manager for the FIH Hockey World Cup -2010 where India was the host country.

Managed SAIL brand at the Commonwealth Youth Games-2008 held in Pune.

Tendering and Printing of Ministry of Steel Annual Report, Compendium, UPA achievements advertisements, etc.

Planning and execution of Foundation Stone laying ceremonies of SAIL’s Steel Plant Units at Mandi (HP) , Gonda (UP), Bahraich(UP), Jhansi(UP), Parsapur(UP),etc.

Presentation of SAIL’s corporate film to the Governor of Virginia his Excellency Mr. Robert Fennell during his visit to SAIL office.

Managing SAIL Annual Day on 24th January each year since 2009.

Developing and implementing communication initiatives on sustainability and CSR at pan-India level.
