My current career objective is to now remain in the sheet metal and fabrication industry where I excelled for many years. My goal is also to work for a company that encourages personal & professional growth. KEY SKILLS Throughout my career to date I have been fortunate to work within organisations that promote and encourage personal development. From this I have gained many of the skills that I use day to day such as: Project Management & Product Development Purchasing and Logistics - Supply Chain Customer Care MRP Development EDUCATION Professional – Mechanical Craft Engineering Studies Norwich City College, Norwich 1977-1980 After leaving school I studied Part time at Norwich City College to City Of Guilds Level. I was invited to stay on and study to HNC level but the company I worked for needed me at the factory more. My training continued on an “in house basis” where I became lead sheet metal worker by the time I was 20, I went on to take control of the production at age 23 rising to Upper management. My education has from then on been self-taught and by experience. Also having worked with the DTI as part of the supply chain group’s scheme. If you are seeking someone to help take your company forward I believe that my long experience of almost 40 years in engineering coupled with my drive and ability to troubleshoot and think on my feet will be of great benefit.

Employed implementing an MRP system from the ground up, assisting with production planning, purchasing and estimating, assisting in the drawing office when required.

Mo-Sys Technologies Limited, London Full Time

I was brought into this company to bring outside expertise to help a group of hobbyists grow into a company with an international clientele and reputation, providing robotic & motion control solutions to the film & TV industry, as their Operations Manager.

Assisting the CEO in taking this from a hobbyists to a fully fledged company with a turn over of £1m plus and a reputation for excellence in their field of Robotics and Motion Control.

Formula Fabrications (UK) Ltd

Turned the company around and took it through to its biggest year ever from an operating loss (General Manager)

Became the "Go To" Person for leading blue chip car companies

(General Manager) Devised, Initiated and championed an 80/20 Global Sourcing Program as well as working on “In House” cost out initiatives.

Achieved a 100% Quality Assurance Matrix with a major Automotive Client, The first to do so. (General Manager) Achieved as part of the DTI Supply Chain Group initiative.
