Please always maintain the center of your body in the middleof seat.Especially do not sit at the rear seat because it may lessen theweight of front wheel and cause trembling steering wheel.+Passengers should accurately fix bodies using both hands andput both feet on floor panel.+Whenwantingtoturn,slightlyleantobodytowardthedirection of the turn. Indicatesdrivingspeed.Maintainlegalspeed limits to ensure safe operation.

Indicates total distance in kilometerstravelled by the vehicle.

When fuel in the fuel tank is low, the fuelwarning indicator turns on.When this happens, fill the fuel tank withthegasoline.Whenthefuelwarningindicatorturnson,roughly1.1litersofgasolinecanbeputinthevehicletofilltank.

When oil in the oil tank is low, the oilwarning indicator turns on.When this happens, fill the oil tank withpure oil.

If the winker switch is operated,the winker indicator flashes in union with the flashing of the turn signals.10SPEEDOMETERWINKER INDICATOROIL WARNINGINDICATORFUEL WARNINGINDICATORODOMETERMETER READING AND USAGEMETERWARNING AND INDICATOR LAMPCAUTION+IftheoilwarningindicatorturnsonafterthemainswitchisplacedtoanONposition,quicklyfillthe oil tank using pure oilWARNING+Toavoidrunningoutoffuelthatmay result in a sudden stop.``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_|(1. ON.... Starts engine. Key can not bepulled out.2. OFF....Stops engine. Key can beplaced in or taken out of themain switch.3. LOCK....Locks handle bars. Key can beplaced in or taken out of themain switch.4. OPEN....When seat lock is released, keyreturns to its original position(OFF). Key can be placed in ortaken out of the main switch.11SWITCH OPERATIONMAIN SWITCHMAIN SWITCHCAUTION+Do not manipulate main switch keyduring operation. If the main switchkeyisplacedonOfforLockposition,allelectricalsystemwillnotfunction.Neveroperatethemainswitchkeyduringtravelasitmightcauseunexpectedaccidents.Ifitisnecessarytoremovethemainswitchkey,stopthevehiclefirst prior to removing.CAUTION+Whenyouparkthevehicleandleave it, please lock handle bars andtake out the key.+Itcanbelockedupinthemainstandusingsupplementarydevice(Buglarproof)+If the key is left inONpositionwithoutstartingengine,batteryisdischarged.+Rotatekeysmoothlywithoutpressing to turn to OPEN.+Donotuseanumberofkeystogether with a metal key holder.Thekeysandthekeyholdermaycausescratchesorotherdamagetothecoverwhileoperatingthevehicle.(Recommendclothorleather key holders)``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_||Theengineisstartedpressingthisbuttonwhenpressedinastatewherethemainswitch key is placed to an ON position andthe brake lever is pulled.

Put main switch key in ON position andturn on headlight switch.

Highbeamorlowbeamcanbeoperatedby the use of high/low beam switch.HIGH BEAM...... usedwhenneedingextralight.LOW BEAM...... used when other vehicles arepresent, in the city, etc.12STARTER BUTTON HEADLIGHTCAUTION+Theenginewillnotstartifthebrake lever is not pulled.+Donotholdthebrakeleverand pullthethrottlegripwhenthe enginewasstarted.Itmaydamage the engine.(HI)D(LO)D3A d|A(l 3wlA(l l/w AM 3wlSWITCHPOSITION FUNCTIONHeadlight, taillight,position lamp andmeter lights on.Position lamp, taillight,and meter lights on.Lightturned off. (OFF)(P)(H)``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_|Ifthisswitchisturnedonwhenthemainswitch is in an ON position, the winker willoperate.(R)....used when making a right turn.(L)....used when making a left turn.Thehornissoundedifthehornbuttonispressed when the main switch is in an ONposition.13WINKER SWITCHCAUTION+Thewinkerswitchdoesnotauto-maticallyturnbacktoitsoriginalposition after completing the turn.Pleasesettheswitchbacktoitscenter position after turning.wl|l 3wlCAUTION+Usethehighbeamonlyinthesuburban road or when the usage ofthehighbeamnothinderthesafedriving of the car ahead.HORN BUTTON| d|``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_|Whenparking,makesuretolockhandlebars to prevent theft of the vehicle.

Turn the handle bars all the way to the left,and while pushing on the main switch key,turn the main switch to the LOCK postion.

UnlockingisaccomplishedbysimplyturningthemainswitchtotheOFFposition.It can be locked up in the main stand usingthesupplementarydevice(key,wire)forbuglarproofing.14HANDLE BAR LOCK MAIN STAND LOCKEQUIPMENT USAGECAUTION+Checktoseethatthehandlebarshavebeensecurelylockedbylightlymovingthehandlebarstothe left and right.+Makesuretoparkthevehicleinalocationwheretrafficandalwaysare not blocked.A|( A lMAl| 3A|( l``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_|j

+Theseatautomaticallylockswhentheseat is pushed in its downward position,+Lightly pull upward on the seat to makesure the seat has been properly locked.

+TurnthemainswitchkeyfromOFFtoOPEN to open the seat.+There is a trunk under the seat.+The seat is opened to gain access to thetrunkbyusingthemainswitchkeyonthe seat lock.TRUNK MAXIMUM LOAD:10kg15SEAT LOCKCAUTION+As the seat automatically locks, takespecial care not to accidently leavethe key in the trunk.+Driving with unlocked seat lock maycause danger.+When the seat lock is out of order, donot operate it further and inspect it inthe closest authorized repair center.3A lTRUNKd|l``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_|Thereisadocumentstorageareaonthebottomoftheseat.Storetheownersmanualandthemaintenancenotebookinthis area.+Foreaseincarryingbagsandsimilaritems, they should be hung from the bagholder which is fitted for this purpose.16DOCUMENT STORAGE AREA BAG HOLDERCAUTION+Makesurethattheseatissecurelylocked after closing the seat.+Anunlockedseatcanhindertheoperation of the vehicle.+Thetemperatureinsidethetrunkrisesduetoheatfromtheengine.Donotplacefoodstuffsandotherarticlesthatcanbedamagedeasilybyheat.Alsodonotplaceflamm-able materials in the trunk.+Donotplacevaluableorfragilegoods in trunk.+Aswatercanenterthetrunkwhenwashing,makesuretoremovearticlesthatcanbedamagedbywater.(dM| 3A AAA (CAUTION+Do not attempt to carry very heavyorbulkyloadssincethiswouldaffectthestabilityandsteeringcharacteristics of the scooter.``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_|(

_Squeeze tightly on the rear brake lever._ Movethebrakelockleverinthedirectionofthearrowinthedrawingandplaceitinthegrooveofthebrakelever._ Releaseyourhandfromtherearbrakelever and the rear wheel will be locked.

_ Squeezetightlyontherearbrakelever and the lock lever will be automatically released._ Releaseyourhandfromtherearbrakeleverandtherearwheelwillbeunlocked.17BRAKE LOCK LEVERCAUTION+Iftherearbrakeisnotadjustedproperly,itwillnotbeabletolock.Pleaserefertopage33forinstruc-tions on rear brake adjustment.Al l v``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_|+Make sure to check the oil, gasoline, etc.,before starting the engine.+Please ensure that the main stand is in adown position when starting the engine.+Drivewithcareforbothsafetyreasonsand longer vehicle life.+For1month(or1,000km)afterpur-chasingthevehicle,drivemoderatlyavoiding fast starts and fast acceleration.Alwaysfollowtheproperstartingproceduredescribed below.+This motorcycle is equipped with a side stand ignition cut-off system.+Theenginecannotbestartedifthesidestand is down._ Lock the rear wheel.(see p. 17)@ Turn the main switch to an ON position._ Start engine with cell or kick.18STARTING THE ENGINECAUTION+Makesurethattherearwheelislockedwhenstartingtheenginetoprevent an unexpected quick start ofthe vehicle.+Lockingisnotpossibleiftherearwheel brake is not adjusted correctly.+Pay attention so that the hand or anypartofthebodynottocontactwiththe rear wheel when accelerating thevehiclewiththemainstanderectedsince there is danger of injury. +Iftherearwheelcontactswiththeground when accelerating the vehiclewiththemainstanderected,thevehiclecangoforwarduninten-tionallyresultingininjuryofthedriver.WARNING+Never run the engine in an enclosedarea. The exhaust contains poisonouscarbon monoxide gas that can causelossofconsciousnessandleadtodeath.CAUTION+If the oil warning indicator turns onafter the main switch is placed to anONposition,quicklyfilltheoiltank using pure oil.CORRECT DRIVING OPERATION``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_|;

+Pressthestarterbuttonwithoutrotatingthe starter grip (opening the throttle).+Iftheengineishotanddoesnotstartafterpressingthestarterbuttonfor3~4seconds,rotatethethrottlegripto1/8~1/4 of a rotation and try again. Thiswill allow easy starting+Itispossiblethatstartingwillbemoredifficult if the vehicle has not been usedforalongperiodoftimeorifthefuelholeispluggedup(startingproblemseven when there is sufficient fuel in thefueltankmaybeanindicationofaplugged fuel hole).Whenthishappens,donotrotatethethrottlegripandtrythestarterbuttonafew times.

+Erectmainstandandthenstepkickstarter pedal strongly.19CAUTION+Immediatelyreleasethestarterbuttonassoonasthevehiclehasstarted.+Do not press the starter button whenthe engine is running.This can damage the starter motor.CAUTION+Makesuretoplacekickstarterinits original position after the enginehas been started.+Be sure to erect main stand and sidestand when starting.+Do not use the starter button and thekick-starter pedal simultaneously.+Whenstartingwiththekickstarter,itisnotnecessarytograbthefrontand rear brakes.CAUTION+Donotkeepthestarterbuttonpressedformorethan5secondsatatime.Releasethestarterbuttonforapproximately10secondsbefore pressing it again.1/41/8``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_|}20_ Whentheengineiscoldmorningorwinter or the vehicle has not been usedfor a long period of time, let the engineidle for a short period allow the engineto warm up.If engine cannot be started or vehicle doesnot move, check the followings.+Is there fuel in fuel tank?+Are you operating in accordance with theinstructions given in owners manual?+Is fuse not cut?+Is starter motor running?+Ifstartermotorisnotrunningduetobatteryconsumption,trystartingmotorby using kick start technique._ Fold the main stand.+Pushthevehicleforwardtofoldthemain stand and make sure that the brakeleverdoesnotbecomereleasedduringthis operation.CAUTION+Keep holding rear brake until start.+Exhaust has contains harmful subs-tance such as carbon monoxide.Start engine in well-ventilated places.CAUTION+Do not excessively open the throttleuntilyouactuallystartthedrivingoperation of the vehicle.IF ENGINE CANNOT BE STARTED AFTER STARTING ENGINE``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_(@ Get on the vehicle.+Mountingshouldbedonefromtheleftside,andyoushouldsitsquarelyontheseat.Leaveeitheronefootorbothfeetplanted on the ground_ Squeeze tightly on the rear brake leverand the lock lever will be automaticallyreleased._ Releasethesqueezingtensionontherearbrakeleverandslowlybegintorotatethethrottlegriptoallowforaslow and easy start.21CAUTION+Keepholdingrearbrakeleverbefore starting.CAUTION+Do not rapidly trun the throttle gripwhenyoureleasetherearbrakelock.Thevehiclemayspringout,causing injury or damage.CAUTION+A quick rotating of the throttle gripwillcausethevehicletomovesuddenly forward.+IftheengineRPMisntdecreasedafterthethrottlegripreturntoitsoriginalposition,stopoperatingandinspectitintheclosestauthorized repair center.Al l v``_(\,_];|j|(||j|_|+Beforeenteringtraffic,usethecorrectturnsignaltoforewardotherdriversofyour intentions.Speediscontrolledbytheoperationofthe throttle grip.+If the throttle grip is rotated........Thespeedofthevehicleincreases.Pleaserotatethethrottlegripslowly.Whenclimbingahill,thethrottlegripneedtoberotatedfurthertogivethevehicle more power.+If the throttle grip is allowed torotate back........Speeddecreases.Thiscanbedoneslowlyorquickly,dependingonhowquickly you need to decelerate.Work the front and rear brakestogether.+Allowthethrottlegriptorotatebacktoitsbeginningpositionandthensqueezethe brake levers.+Ifisbesttooperatethebrakesbyfirstlightlysqueezingthebrakeleversandthen changing to a more firm squeeze.22CAUTION+If only one of the brakes is used, itispossibleforthevehicletoexperience sliding.
