1 GENERAL PART 1.1General Description

The vessel is a single-screw multi-purpose cargo vessel for world wide service, designed for transport of all kind of cargoes, such as dry bulk cargo, grain, steel products including steel coils and pipes, project cargo as well as container cargoes and dangerous cargo, etc. The vessel shall have forecastle, poop and six (6) tier deck houses, raked stem with bulbous bow, transom stern, a flap type rudder and a fixed pitch propeller. Propulsion machinery and all accommodations including navigation bridge shall be located aft. The vessel has one (1) large box type cargo hold with length abt.78 m and one (1) forward small cargo hold. The vessel is subdivided into the following main compartments: · fore ship section with forecastle · hold No.1 · deep tank · hold No.2 · water ballast tank · engine room · aft peak tank with poop and deckhouse above Double bottom and double skin in cargo area shall be used as water ballast tanks and anti-heeling tanks. Box type transverse bulkheads between cargo holds shall be used as fuel oil tanks. Two (2) 250t heavy lift cranes shall be arranged at portside as shown on G.A. The vessel is fitted with hydraulic operated main deck hatch covers and removable pontoon tween deck on three (3) levels in No.2 cargo hold. Tank top and tween deck shall be flush type. A pipe duct is arranged from engine room to fore end of No.1 cargo hold. The upper part of double skin is designed as void space and is used for cables and pipes. The vessel is fitted with a bow thruster of 700kW. The ship will be suitable to carry dangerous goods IMO class 1-6, 8 and 9 in No.1 cargo hold and 2-6, 8 and 9 in No.2 cargo hold in packed and/or bulk form, but limited by equipment to be installed on board. 1.2 Principle Dimensions Length overall approx.149.70m Length between perpendiculars 142.33m Breadth moulded 23.40m Depth moulded 13.50m Design Draft moulded 7.40m

Based on ISO standard 8'x 8'6" x 20' type and IMO visibility at scantling draught even keel condition, and without tween deck onboard. 1.4 Main Engine and Fuel Oil Consumption Type: Wartsila 5RT-flex50-D Delta bypass tuning (with SCR Tier III) Number: One (1) set Output: SMCR 5,530 kW x 100.0 r/min CSR(85%SMCR) 4,700 kW x 94.7 r/min F.O. Consumption of main engine shall be appox. 160.4 g/kWh (about 18.1 t/d excluding +5% tolerance margin) at CSR of main engine on the basis of the fuel oil with lower calorific value of 42,700kJ/kg and ISO reference condition. M/E fuel oil consumption shall be confirmed as per maker’s shop test. 1.5 Speed and Endurance The service speed at design draft of 7.4m and CSR of main engine with 10% sea margin on clean hull in deep calm sea with no currents shall be abt. 15.10kn. (subject to model test results ) Endurance shall be approx. 13,000 nautical miles on the basis of service speed of at the design draught and only based on the above mentioned F.O. consumption at CSR of main engine and one set generator.

The Vessel shall be designed to have sufficient stability and suitable trim in usual service conditions. One (1) set of loading computer system approved by Class shall be supplied. 1.9 Material and Workmanship Materials, apparatus and equipment shall be in accordance with ISO and/or JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) and/or the Chinese Standards (GB, CB etc.) and/or the Builder's standards and/or the manufacturers' standards unless otherwise specifically described in the Specifications.

The vessel shall be built in accordance with the CSQS (Chinese Shipbuilding Quality Standard) as well as the Builder’s standard shipbuilding practice and workmanship. 1.10 Redocking No dry docking shall be carried out if the vessel launched within six (6) months before delivery.

2 HULL PART 2.1 General The hull shall be of welded steel structure and shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the requirements of Class Rules and the Builder's practices. Scantlings shall be based on ship’s scantling draft (mould) of 8.05m and in compliance with the Class Rules. Materials of hull structural members consist of mild carbon steel and higher tensile steels. Higher tensile steel of 315N/mm2 and 355N/mm2 shall be generally used for main hull structure. The uniform load for tank top of No.2 cargo hold shall be·20 t/m². Container stack load on tank top shall be in accordance with 120 t/TEU stack and 140 t/FEU stack. The tank top is strengthened for heavy cargo and grab discharge. The vessel shall be suitable to carry one layer of steel coils of following dimensions: · Length: abt. 2.0 m - 2.3 m · Diameter: abt. 2.0 m · Weight: abt. 45 tons 2.2 Hull Structure 2.2.1 Aft body Bottom shell and side shell plating shall be transversely and/or longitudinally stiffened. Poop and upper deck plating shall be transversely and/or longitudinally stiffened and shall be reinforced in way of mooring winches and mooring fittings. Floors, watertight or perforated flats and wash bulkheads shall be arranged in after peak tank where necessary.

After peak bulkhead shall be of stiffened plane type. 2.2.2 Engine room Bottom shell plating shall be transversely stiffened, and side shell plating shall be transversely stiffened. Double bottom shall be constructed with floors and girders. Transverse floors in engine room shall be fitted at every frame space and side girders shall be arranged at suitable positions to suit for the seating of the main engine. Upper deck plating shall be transversely stiffened with girders, and supported by pillars and steel walls where necessary. Platform decks shall be arranged in engine room. Engine room front bulkhead shall be of plane type with stiffeners on the engine room side.

2.2.3 Cargo space Shell plating shall be longitudinally stiffened with transverse webs at upper area and shall be transversely or longitudinally stiffened at lower part. Double bottom shall be longitudinally stiffened with longitudinals, floors and girders. Upper deck plating outside hatch openings shall be longitudinally stiffened, and upper deck plating between hatch openings shall be transversely stiffened. Transverse watertight bulkheads between cargo holds shall be of box type. No.1 hold forward and No.2 aft bulkhead shall be of plain construction. 2.2.4 Fore body Bottom shell and side shell plating shall be transversely stiffened. Upper deck plating & forecastle deck plating shall be longitudinally or transversely stiffened structure as per the Builder’s practice. Platforms and stringers below upper deck with transverses, girders and stiffeners shall be arranged where necessary. Fore body bulkheads shall be of vertically or horizontally stiffened plate type. One bow thruster shall be installed at aft of the collision bulkhead. Two (2) self-stowing watertight chain lockers shall be provided. 2.2.5 Deckhouse Deck house shall be of six (6) tiers above the poop deck aft. External walls of deckhouse shall be of flat plate type with vertical stiffeners, and internal walls shall be of flat plate type and/or corrugated type. Decks shall be transversely and/or longitudinally stiffened with beams, transverses and girders 2.3 Painting and Corrosion Protection 2.3.1 General Painting work including surface preparation and painting inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the Builder’s practice and paint manufacturer’s recommendation. All steel plates of 6mm and above in thickness and profile of 3m and above in length shall be shot blasted to Sa 2.5 (ISO 8501-1:2007) and immediately primed with one coat of inorganic zinc silicate shop primer (Builder’s standard) to dry film thickness of 18+3 microns.

All the outfitting (except pipes) shall be pained in accordance with the Builder’s standard. For the secondary surface preparation, before the first coat is applied, damaged areas of shop primer due to welding, burning, rubbing, etc., and the rusted steel surface shall be treated to ST2 or ST3 or Sa2.5 for different part as Builder’s practice. However, the superstructure outside and inside and the block joint shall be treated to St3 by power tooling before paint application. 2.3.2 Painting schedule

2.3.4 MGPS MGPS shall be provided in S.W. filters of sea water cooling system for anti-fouling for 2.5 years. 2.3.5 Galvanizing Galvanizing shall be applied for items that are to be galvanized as described throughout the Specification and generally as follows: - Sheaves of block - Handrail of outside deck ladder (inclined ladder only) rail and stanchion of handrail - Steel shelf in provision space, sundry space and working space as specified.

3 SHIP EQUIPMENT AND FITTINGS 3.1 Manoeuvring, Anchoring, and Mooring Equipment 3.1.1 Rudder and steering gear One (1) flap type rudder of double plated stream line form shall be provided. The steering gear is to be of rotary vane type with two electric driven hydraulic pumps. One (1) of two (2) pump units is to be operated in navigation and the other to be served as a standby. 3.1.2 Bow thruster One (1) electric driven bow thruster of 700kW with controllable pitch propeller shall be installed as shown in the General Arrangement Plan. 3.1.3 Windlass/mooring winch Windlass: Two (2) sets of electro-hydraulic driven separated type windlass to be fitted on the forecastle deck port side and starboard side, each with one (1) gypsy wheel, one (1) hawser drum and one (1) warping head with auto-tension device. Gypsy wheel shall be operated through claw clutch and fitted with friction brake. 3.1.4 Mooring winch Two (2) sets of electro-hydraulic driven type mooring winches with auto-tension device shall be provided on poop deck aft. Each mooring winch has one (1) hawser drum and one (1) warping head. One (1) electro-hydraulic mooring winch with one drum shall be provided at forecastle deck. 3.1.5 Hydraulic power pack for deck machinery Two (2) sets of hydraulic power pack shall be provided, one is in the steering gear room and other is in the forward store space to serve the windlass and mooring winches. 3.1.6 Anchoring and Mooring Fittings Anchor: Two (2) stockless bower anchors of cast steel construction shall be supplied in

compliance with the requirements of the Classification Society. No spare anchor shall be supplied. Chain Cable: Two (2) stud chain cables for bower anchors (Grade 3) shall be supplied. Mooring type: Five (5) polypropylene mooring ropes x 200 meters. No towing rope shall be provided.

Mooring bollard, fairleads, chocks etc. to be fitted in accordance with normal practice. 3.2 Lifting and Transfer Equipment 3.2.1 Cargo cranes Two (2) sets of electro-hydraulic, wire luffing type cargo cranes shall be located at port side on board. The each crane shall have a lifting capacity:250t x18m/45tx37.0m. The two heavy lifting cranes can be combined to lift up to 500t load. 5 MACHINERY PART The vessel shall be single fixed pitch propeller propulsion with one (1) low speed diesel engine located aft. Fuel oil system for main engine shall be based on operation with H.F.O. of viscosity up to 380cSt. at 50 with density of 991kg/m℃ 3, MDO and MGO (DMZ of ISO8217:2010, 3 cSt at 40℃, with sulphur content not more than 0.1% m/m). The diesel engines shall meet the requirement of IMO NOx Tier II emission limitation. SCR system for IMO NOx Tier III standard shall be installed all diesel engines except for emergency. Electric power shall be supplied by three (3) sets of main diesel generators and one (1) set of emergency diesel generator. The steam generating plant shall consist of one (1) set of composite boiler. Central cooling F.W. system shall be provided. 1 set - Navtex receiver 1 set - SSAS (Ship Security Alert System) combined with Inmarsat-C 6.9 Automation Automatic control remote operation and central supervision shall be provided in accordance with the requirements of the Classification Society of unattended machinery space. One (1) engine control room shall be arranged in the engine room and equipped with an engine control console group starter panel and main switchboard. The main engine shall be controlled remotely from the wheelhouse and the engine control room. Necessary instruments and safety devices for local manual control shall be provided at the main engine side. Two (2) sets of microprocessor (one as stand-by) based alarm and monitoring system shall be provided as follows: 2 – LCD with keyboard in engine control room 2 – Data processing unit and memory 1 – Alarm / Data printer in engine control room Alarms shall be grouped and extended to the wheelhouse, engineers’ cabin and public spaces when engine rooms are unattended. Diesel generator engines shall be equipped with remote start/stop device operated from engine control room and with power management system. Essential equipment shall be automatically change-over to the stand-by one on failure of working set. Automatic fire detection system shall be provided in accordance with the Rules and Regulations concerned.
