Computación Básica Aquí aprenderá las habilidades básicas para usar el ratón y el teclado. También aprenderá lo básico del sistema operativo Microsoft. Para estudiantes con conocimiento limitado de computadoras. Computacion Intermedia * Esta es una introducción para navegar en Internet. En la clase aprenderá las técnicas para encontrar sitios de Internet e información para usar buscado-res como Google. También practicaremos con otros programas de computación para mejorar sus habili-dades. Para estudiantes con conocimiento básico de computadoras. . Taller Básico de Computación ¡Venga a adquirir los elementos básicos para cono-cer el uso de la computadora e Internet. Le ayudará a ganar habilidad y convertirle en un buen usuario de la computadora. Los temas cambiarán depen-diendo de sus necesidades, para que pueda familia-rizarse con lo básico en computación, aprender a usar programas de Microsoft Office, crear una cuen-ta de correo electrónico, navegar por Internet y más. Buscar Trabajo en Internet En esta clase le enseñaremos cómo utilizar Internet para buscar empleo, hacer solicitudes por Internet, aumentar su red de contactos en la búsqueda de trabajo, y le daremos sugerencias para crear o mejorar su currículum en línea. Para esta clase se necesita que los estudiantes tengan la habilidad y conocimiento para usar el ratón (señalar, oprimir y arrastrar) y el teclado o haber tomado la clase de Computación Básica.

Computer Basics This class will cover mouse and keyboarding skills as well as an overview of the Windows operating sys-tem. Internet Basics & Aurora Public Library Web tour. * This class is an introduction to navigating the Internet using Internet Explorer. The class will cover tech-niques in finding websites and information using a variety of search engines, such as Google or Yahoo PLUS a tour of the library website and the wealth of services, information and links available at your fin-gertips. E-Mail Basics * Covers creating and using a FREE web-based e-mail account. In addition, it will cover creating, sending, receiving and managing e-mail messages. Create a slide master, add text, design formats and basic animations. . Ancestry Library Edition Questions and Answers Now that you have acquainted yourself with our Li-brary Edition of Ancestry, bring on those questions. So we are prepared with answers you may email them in advance to: cbrace@aurora.lib.il.us * On-Line Genealogy Adventure Bring your genealogy questions to this discussion of On-Line Genealogy resources.
