DFCM... FCU control valve with actuator
The DFCM range of detachable fan coil motorized valve is
designed for two position (on/off) control of
hot or cold water in heating and cooling HVAC systems. It
features a synchronous motor designed forlong life trouble free
operation. The DFCM actuators are equipped with spring return
mechanism. Two orthree way valves are designed with or without
extension stem for ease of insulation.
Function
The DFCM series two position valves are designed tocontrol
heating or cooling water. Valve actuators aredesigned to withstand
high moisture conditions found in
many concealed installation.FunctionValves are operated by a
hysteresis synchronous motor.Upon demand, a normally closed valve
is opened by thecommand signal of the thermostat. When the
temperatureis satisfied, a spring returns the valve to the
closedposition. The paddle assemblies close against the flow
on2-way valves. 3-way valves are normally closed to the coilside

ActuatorThe actuators are enclosed in flame retardant plastic
casingand detachable from the valve. With a new extended
stemvalve it is make for ease of insulation and replacement.
InstallationThe valves are to be mounted according to the flow
directionmarks on the valves.To ensure tight closure and prevent
noise when closing, thevalves are to be mounted on the return line
of a coil.The 3-way valve is of diverting type and should be
mountedon the supply line at the diverting point.The valves are
recommended to be mounted with the actuatorin an upright or side
position.
