This is to announce that an open ranking of qualified applicants for twelve (12) new teaching positions for the Alternative Learning System (ALS) shall be held at the 3 rd fir Conference Hall, SDO Building on September 18, 2018 at 9:00am 2. The Qualification Standards (QS) for the positions are as follows: Position Preferred Requirements Title/Salary Eligibility Grade Education Experience Training Bachelor of Preferably with 1 ALS Training, EFA-BLP, Teacher (RA Teacher I/SG-11 Education/ALS year experience in English Enrichment for 1080) Course, BSE or teaching ALS Mobile Teacher, e- BEEd modules, e-eskuela 3. The duties and responsibilities of a Mobile Teacher are as follows: a. Coordinates with community leaders to identify potential learners b. Conducts regular literacy mapping c. Advocates ALS programs and network with other Gas, NGOs and other pas. d. Conducts evaluation to determine the entry and exit level of learners using the Functional Literacy Test (FL T) e. Determines learning needs of learners using the Individual Learning Agreement f. Conducts learning sessions using ALS learning modules and supplementary materials for at least three months in a year g. Devises plans and implements them in order to sustain gains of learners from the ALS program h, Conducts home visits, individual tutorials, counselling and other need-driven activities in an effort to retain and win the learners back to the literacy sessions i. Assists in the preparation of learning portfolio j. Prepares and develops community-based learning materials and other supplementary learning materials k. Adapts/adopts existing ALS learning materials and other supplementary learning materials I. Translates ALS learning materials and other learning materials into the local language of the learners or community where he/she conducts learning sessions as the need arises m. Conducts action research activity to improve teaching-learning process as well as delivery of ALS programs and projects n. Monitors and evaluates the learners learning progress o. Gathers data on ALS programs and projects p. Establishes functional reporting system

4. Applicants' original documents shall be used in the appreciation of the papers. Recruitment,evaluation and selection process of documents shall be based on the guidelines set forth inDepEd Order Nos. 7 and 22, s. 2015.
