    Cut outthe shape.

    The stitches are ordecoration so keep

    them neat and even.

    Collect together all the pieces to

    decorate the abric patch. The ric-rac

    border and very small bits o abric donot need the adhesive backing.

    Position the shapes

    Place the shaperight side up onthe abric.

    Sew the shapeto the abric

    patch withrunningstitch.

    Match theends o theric-rac tolook neat.

    Gently iron thepaper shape tothe abric.

    Gently iron the shapeonto the abric.

    Careully snipholes or theabric buttons.

    Sew on the buttonswith diferent-coloured thread.

    Position the ric-rac border withpins then sew in place.
