Abbreviations: BO = Bind Off CO = Cast On K = Knit K2tog = Knit 2 stitches together P = Purl St(s) = Stitch(es)
YO = Yarn Over
Note: The pattern uses double YO’s on row 1 & 3 of the pattern. You will work a K1, P1 st into the double YO’s to keep your st count even. Set up pattern: CO 84 sts. Knit 2 rows. Bird’s Eye Pattern: Row 1: K2,*[K2tog, YO twice, K2tog]; repeat from * to last 2 sts, end with K2. Row 2: K2, *[K1, work (K1, P1) into double YO, K1]; repeat from * to last 2 sts, end with K2. Row 3: K4, *[K2tog, YO twice, K2tog]; repeat from * to last 4 sts, end with K4. Row 4: K4, *[K1, work (K1, P1)into double YO, K1]; repeat from * to last 4 sts, end with K4.
