São admitidos como ouvintes alunos externos, mediante inscrição gratuita. Todos os alunos receberão um certificado de participação. Máté Szücs - 1. solo-viola at the Berlin
Philharmonic Orchestra - started playing
the violin at the age of 5 and as 11 year
old he won the special prize of the
Hungarian violin competition for young
artists.
1. prize of the national violin competition
of Szeged, 1. prize in sonata category of
the Hungarian chamber music
competition and 1. prize for the viola at
the international violin and viola
Competition in Liège, Belgium.
Finalist of the international viola
competition "Jean Françaix" in Paris and
laureate of the international music
competition "Tenuto" in Brussels.
He was 17 when he changed from the
violin to the viola.
He graduated with the highest
distinction at the Royal Conservatory of
Brussels with Prof. Ervin Schiffer and
the Royal Conservatory of Flanders with
Prof. Leo de Neve.
During 1998 and 2001 also studied at
the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth
in Waterloo with Prof. E. Schiffer, where
he obtained his diploma with the highest
distinction.
Member of various chamber ensembles
like Mendelssohn ensemble,
Trio Dor, Enigma Ensemble and
“Fragments” ensemble, playing classical
and world music.
Solo-viola player at various prestigious
orchestra such as the Royal
Philharmonic Orchestra of Flanders, the
“Bamberger Symphoniker”, the
“Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden”,
the Frankfurt Radio Orchestra and the
“Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie
Bremen".
Between 2007-2009 teacher at the
University of Music in Saarbrücken and
since the summer of 2006 regular
professor at the “Thy” chamber music
festival in Denmark.
He is regular invited for solo concerts
and for masterclasses all over Europe.
Played chamber music together with
musician like Janine Jansen, Christian
Tetzlaff or Vadim Repin.
Since September 2011 he is the 1. solo-
viola player at the Berlin Philharmonic
Orchestra, where he is also teaching
viola at the orchestra academy.
