INSPIRATIONAL SPACE

The client, named Erna Fitrini that

usually called by Mba Erna or Uncu Nana, is

a writer that focus in the line of making the

stories for children.She has produced over than 16 books

and some short stories over magazines. A

very productive type of writer. She uses most

of her time to do brainstorming and searching

for some inspiration with r eading. And always

taking care of her relation to our Creator,

God. Meet, read, pray.

This is my idea of how the management of the space, shown by the

proportion of the activities related to her creative process. How would sheneed the space in order of having new ideas. Also her needs of living.

Sort of qualities that matters to the creative process.

My basic concept of how to enhance and manipulate the spacewith the given qualities and fulfilled the clients need of space qualities.

Having the site with the contour not always giving bad effects.The level of height would give enclosure to the eye of another peoplearound which having the activities on the higher ground.

The qualities of the site, that wouldbe the most important things to start

having the idea of how can we manageand manipulate the given qualities fromthe nature to enhance to get the desiredqualities.

Choosing the site which has thequalities similar with the clients desiredwould give another step forward, whichmeans you can only enhance the positivequalities and manipulate the negative tocreate new atmosphere.

The building gain its privacy because it is located on the lower level of thesite contour, which can not be seen from the top level (since most of the activitylike walking, bicycling, etc are taking place on it). Vegetation also helps thebuilding become hardly to be seen, the upper part of the building covered byplants that makes camouflage of an empty spot, it sublimes with thesurrounding.

STRUCTURE

Structure made of concrete because unlikely to get corrodes. Almost all of the structure connected to each otherto make it stand stronger, and also because the building has a separated part. Somehow type of the soil has effecton some type of structure.
