モード、クリエーションの中心地であるパリには、17 000 の商店があり、プレタポルテ

のショップだけでも 5 500 を数えます。デパート、立ちよらずにはいられない伝統の高

級ブランド、有名な商業地区が、1 年 365 日を通じてパリならではのショッピングの世

界を作り上げているのです...

以前からファッションと高級品の世界では、パリは決して避けて通ることのできないレ

ファレンスでした。世界的な有名ブランドはすべてパリに旗艦店を開いています。ヨー

ロッパの中心部という地理的条件、きわめて質の高い観光インフラと宿泊施設によって、

パリには非常に魅力的な商業ネットワークができあがっているのです。

最新の流行、新しいお店

> 今年オープンするお店から

パリでは毎週のように大胆なデザインの流行のお店が新しく開店しています。有名ブラ

ンドもそのことをわかっていて、パリは大変魅力的なショッピングの街となっているの

です。

2013年、パリの中でも最も美しい地区に、ファッション業界で大変ステータスのある高

級ブランドのブティックが 3 店舗、オープンしました。まずカール・ラガーフェルド

Karl Lagerfeld がサンジェルマン・デプレ Saint-Germain-des-Prés に、自らのネームブ

ランド・コレクションを集めた第１号店をオープン、続いてマレ地区に、彼自身がセレ

クションしたデザイン、ファッション、アクセサリーや本を販売するコンセプトストア

を開いたのです。

サントノレ通り rue Saint-Honoréには、有名なオランダ人デュオ、ヴィクター＆ロルフ

Viktor & Rolf が、パリで初めてとなるお店をオープン。また他の有名デザイナーでは、

アズディン・アライア Azzedine Alaïa が、シャンゼリゼの黄金の三角地帯と呼ばれる地

区にある邸宅へブティックを構えました。

同じくセーヌ右岸には、ジェイエムウェストン J.M. Weston がシックなサントノレ通り

rue Saint-Honoré に、男性用の高級靴を主力としたコンセプトストアをオープンしてい

ます。また女性靴では、もともとバレーシューズから世界的に名を知られるようになっ

たレペット Repetto が、パリに 5店目のお店を開きました。またニットやメリヤス生地

の洋服メーカー、モン・サン・ミッシェル Mont Saint Michel が、設立 100周年を記念

してパリへ 2店舗を新規オープン。そのうち 1 店舗はパリの主要プティックとして、ユ

ニセックスのコレクションをより豊富な品揃えで、皆さまのお越しをお待ちしています。

そして 2014年 1 月、二つのブランドがパリに第１号の直営店をオープンしました。ジャ

ミニ Jamini は、インドの伝統とパリならではのおしゃれを融合させたスカープのブラン

ド、ベネフィット Benefit は、1970 年代に誕生したアメリカの化粧品ブランドで人気の

コスメを取り扱い、パリで初めての眉メイク専門店となっています。

百貨店でも新しい動きがありました。新しいネーミングとなったル・ベー・アッシュ・

ヴェー・マレ Le BHV/Marais が、新しいコンセプトを打ちたててオープン。さらにオペ

ラ座地区の、以前オールド・イングランド Old Englandだったお店には、スイスの高級

ブランド時計店、ブヘラ Bucherer が入っています。そしてプランタンは、カルーゼ

ル・デュ・ルーブル Carrousel du Louvre に 2 号店をオープン。このプランタン・デュ・

>黄金の三角地帯にある店

マイヨ門 Porte Maillot からシャンゼリゼ Champs-Élysées のロータリー、ジョルジュ・

サンク大通り avenue George-V、モンテーニュ大通り avenue Montaigne。パリのこの地

区には、オートクチュール、プレタポルテなどの高級店がこれでもか、とばかりに並ん

でいて、ルイ・ヴィトン Louis Vuitton、ディオール Dior、シャネル Chanel、グッチ

Gucci、ケンゾーKenzo、ジバンシィ Givenchy、アズディン・アライア Azzedine Alaïa

などが軒を連ねます。昨年、エディ・スリマン Heidi Slimaneによる新しい旗艦店、サ

ン・ローラン・パリ Saint-Laurent Paris が開店。モンテーニュ大通り avenue

Montaigneのこのお店は総面積 900㎡、店内はブラックで統一されています。シャンゼ

リゼ大通り les Champs-Élysées 68 番地にはゲラン Guerlain が、まさに美の殿堂ともい

える伝説的なブティックをオープン。4 階建ての各フロアーは壮大なスペースで、香水、

スキンケアやコスメ売り場、またレストランと鏡のギャラリーで構成されています。

そのすぐ近くに 2014年春、アメリカの高級宝石ブランド、ティファニーTiffany & Co の

お店が、ペ通り rue de la Paix のブティックに続きオープン予定です。また少し離れては

いますが、このシャンゼリゼ大通りに今年、高級時計ブランド、タグ・ホイヤーTag

Heuer の女性専門の時計店がオープンします。

オスマン Haussmann - サン・ラザール Saint-Lazare - オペラ Opéra を結ぶ四角形は、都

市部の商業地区として最も重要な地区のひとつです。まさにパリの商業の心臓部で、主

要デパートや新店舗が軒を連ねています。1912 年創業のギャラリー・ラファイエット

Galeries Lafayette は、3フロアーにわたって最新流行のファッション、有名高級ブラン

ド、メンズの売り場を展開し、5 階はキッズ専用スペースとなります。また 2014 年には、

装飾用品を専門に扱う現在のラファイエット・メゾン Lafayette Maison の建物へ、食料

品専門店のラファイエット・グルメ Lafayette Gourmet が移転し、高級食材や料理器具

売り場がさらに充実する予定です。他方プランタン・オスマン Le Printemps

オペラ座・ガルニエ l’Opéra Garnier横のスクリーブ通り rue Scribeも、ファッションフ

ァンにとって素通りできない場所です。日本のユニセックス・ファッションブランド、

ユニクロ Uniqlo、レディースの衣料品店マージュ Maje、そしてカシミアのセーターや

衣類の専門店エリック・ボンパール Eric Bompard などがあります。スクリーブ通り rue

>流行のファッションが集まるマレ地区 Marais

流行の店、デザインやクリエーターの店が建ち並ぶマレ地区は、アバンギャルドな場所

として知られています。この地区を歩くのは快適ですが、とくにロジエ通り rue des

Rosiers など多くの通りが歩行者専用で、日曜日にはフラン・ブルジョワ通り rue des

Francs-Bourgeois とタンプル通り rue du Templeが車両通行止めになりますから、快適

さがさらに増しています。そしてマレ地区には、コス COS、ヴァネサ・ブリューノ

Vanessa Bruno、イザベル・マラン Isabel Marant、ザ・クープルズ The Kooples、マー

ジュ Maje、サンドロ Sandro、レペット Repetto、ザディグ＆ヴォルテール Zadig &

Voltaire といったたくさんのファッション関連のお店があります。

とりわけオーマレ Haut Marais には、ボーマルシェ大通り boulevard Beaumarchais のエ

ロトクリトス Erotokritos、サンドロ Sandro 、女性クリエーターのステラ・カデンテ

Stella Cadente など、ここ数年プレタポルテの大型店の進出が目立ちます。2013 年、若

いフランスのブランド、レオン＆ハーパーLeon & Harper が同じ通りへ第 1号店をオー

プン、レディース専門のファッション・ブティックとして注目を集めています。そこか

らすぐ近くにあるメルシーMerci は、洗練されたおしゃれなコンセプトストアで、衣料

品や装飾品を販売し、店内には 2 つカフェもあります。さらに少し行くと子供服専門店、

ボントン Bonton があり、子ども向けのプレゼント、アクセサリー、ファッション、そ

して美容室を備えたコンセプトストアを開きました。 マレで最新のコンセプトストアは、

ザ・ブロークン・アーム The Broken Arm。3 人の若いクリエーターが手がけたカフェ・

ブティックで、有名アクセサリーとカルヴェン Carven、ケンゾーKenzo、クリストフ・

ルメール Christophe Lemaire といったファッション・ブランドを取り扱っています。

またイソップ Aesop、キールズ Kiehl's、アクア・ディ・パルマ Acqua di Parma、ディ

プティック Diptyque、ゲラン Guerlain、ジョー・マローン Jo Malone、アニック・グ

タル Annick Goutal といったボディーケア用品や香水を取り扱うお店も、マレ地区には

たくさんあります。そして新店舗リキッド Liquides は、珍しいエッセンスやフリーの調

> パリのパサージュの下で

パリには、18世紀から屋根に覆われ商店が建ち並ぶパサージュ（アーケード）が作られ

始めましたが、多くはそれから 100年ほど後に作られ、パリでも重要な 19世紀の遺産と

なっています。パサージュのほとんどはセーヌ右岸の大通りの近くにあります。建設当

時、この近辺に裕福な人々が集まっていたのです。

建物を貫くかたちでアーケードを作るのが典型的なスタイルですが、建物の建設と同時

に作られたものもあります。パサージュは屋根がガラスなので、上から光が入り、独特

の雰囲気を作り出します。人混みをさけたい、待ち合わせをする、天気を気にせず買い

物をしたい、そんな希望をかなえるパサージュは発展を続けました。

さびれた時期もありましたが、20世紀に再び人気を集め、いまでは約 20ヶ所を数えま

す。パリジャンからも旅行者からもとても愛されているパサージュには、たくさんのお

店だけでなく、レストラン、アートギャラリー、サロン・ド・テがあり、それぞれ豊か

な個性を主張しています。
