Worship News= “Together Tuesdays” will be offered as a third Worship ex-perience beginning Sept. 5th. This worship will be an outreach to our community and hosted at Hill & Holler Restaurant. Summer Interns, Mary Claire Ickes, Caleb Warden, and Tiler Bland will be in ministry with us through August 6th! Welcome them today! BIBLE STUDY OFFERINGS=
Life Group will be taught by our Interns this summer, begin-ning June 4th. All are welcome to explore weekly faith topics. It will be a delight to hear from the next generation each week.
Fellowship Opportunity= Enjoy our hospitality area! We encourage you to come have a cup of coffee or tea and visit with your church family just out-side the sanctuary. Enjoy a space to visit.

Children’s Ministry= Summer BASH for K-5th grade
Wear something you can get wet. Theme: JESUS is Living Water
Friday, August 4th. 10:30-12 noon on the Church playground
Bring a friend! Summer Sunday School will be from 10-10:45 am in the Children’s Wing. All children will meet to-gether (K-5th grade). Our summer interns will be teaching through story telling, activities and art.
We will not have Sunday School during the State Fair, August 13th & 20th for teens or children. See you on August 27th for Sunday School kick-off / Rally Day to meet your new Sunday School teachers!

All Construction has begun the repair of the portico entrance and we anticipate it will take about 2 weeks. During this time the entrance will be closed. Access the side doors for the next two weeks. The Youth House windows project has been completed.

Job Opportunities=
The Preschool at LUMC is growing! Due to increased enrollment, we will be adding a 3-year preschool classroom for the 2017-2018 year. If you are interested in joining a great team of teachers, love young students, and have experience in a preschool learning environ-ment, please contact Shannon Lehman at (304) 646-1343.
The Joyful Noise Afterschool Program is seeking enthusiastic, and caring individuals who have a passion for working with elementary aged children. We will be hiring part-time workers to begin at the start of school August 24th. Interested applicants must be willing to be drug tested and have a background check. Resumes can be emailed to:

Missions= We are scheduled to deliver food for the Food Locker locally on Au-gust 12th starting at 7:45am. We will need at least six vehicles to transport the food. If you are willing to help please call Diana Godbey at: 304-661-3258 to sign up. The LUMC Mission Team Golf Tournament will be held on Wednes-day, August 23, 2017 at The Lewisburg Elks Country Club. Golf hole sponsorships are available. For more information or if you would like to play and do not have a team, contact Harvey at 304-646-1517. All proceeds will benefit the 2016 Greenbrier County flood victims.
Service Opportunities= Are you interested in joining the team of Van Drivers? This service ministry offers transportation each Sunday to those who need a ride to church. We offer pick up for Sunday School and Worship services. If you are interested in serving please contact the church office to be add-ed to the rotating list. 304-645-2727.
