Emergency road works cannot be forecast. » New Entry Estimate of Potential Disruption: # Update *** major ** medium * minor ROAD CLOSURES Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Waltham Terrace, Blackrock Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Waltham Terrace (Blackrock) at its junction with Mount Merrion Avenue and Green Road to through traffic from Monday, 13 th July 2015 to Friday, 2 nd October 2015 both dates inclusive. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate road restoration works and associated works . This work will be done on a phased basis which will allow local access to residents for the full duration of the works. The proposed diversion route will be signposted and further details will be available on our website – www.dlrcoco.ie A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works. ROAD CLOSURES

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993Temporary Closure of Waltham Terrace, BlackrockDún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Waltham Terrace (Blackrock) at its junction with Mount Merrion Avenue and Green Road to through traffic from Monday, 13th July 2015 to Friday, 2nd October 2015 both dates inclusive.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate road restoration works and associated works. This work will be done on a phased basis which will allow local access to residents for the full duration of the works.

ROADWORKS / LANE RESTRICTIONS

» Killiney Hill Road ***Replacement of a gully and footpath repair works will commence at 10:00 am on Saturday, 12th September 2015. A pedestrian walkway will be in place overnight with a stop / go traffic light system in place.

Works will be completed on Sunday, 13th September 2015.

» N11 - Public Lighting Upgrade Works **Page 1 of 4

Public lighting upgrade works will take place from Monday, 14th September 2015 until Friday, 30th October 2015 on N11 outbound lane between Foster’s Avenue Junction and Mount Merrion Junction between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and between 19:30 and 23:30 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

# Leopardstown Road – R113 ***Leopardstown Link Road and Roundabout Reconfiguration SchemeLeopardstown Link Road OPENED to traffic on Wednesday, 22 nd July 2015 , providing a new access to South County Business Park, Leopardstown Race Course and Leopardstown Park Hospital.

Works now progressing on Leopardstown Road East, Brewery Road and the Roundabout as part of the signalisation of the roundabout.

Burton Hall Road heading East towards Roundabout down to 1 lane between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. from Monday, 14th September 2015 to Friday, 18th September 2015.

Localised Traffic Management will be in place, inclusive of lane closures and Stop / Go as required.

Expected completion date of entire scheme – 2nd Quarter 2016

# Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works **Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on:

1. Ballinteer Avenue2. Dublin Road 3. Shanganagh Road 4. Killiney Hill Road5. Crofton Road

These works will continue until end of September 2015.A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.

# Mather Road North, Mount Merrion *Footpath reconstruction works will continue until Friday, 18th September 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

# Thornhill Road, Mount Merrion *Kerbing works will continue until Friday, 18th September 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Frascati Road / Temple Hill Improvement Scheme, Blackrock ***The Frascati Road / Temple Road Route Improvement Scheme is nearing substantial completion. There will be on-going minor works for the coming weeks while the remainder of the scheme (snagging) is completed.

Traffic Section is continuing to monitor the junctions between Stradbrook and Rock Road and will continue to make modifications to improve the flow of traffic and reduce delays.

Dodder Road Lower ***Dodder River wall repair works will continue until Friday, 2nd October 2015 between 07:30 and 18:00 hrs.

The road will be reduced to single lane and managed by temporary traffic lights. The western footpath will be closed; pedestrians can cross to the eastern path at signed designated crossing points.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Ballinteer Road, Ballinteer **The Ballinteer Road Traffic Safety Improvement scheme began on site on Monday, 24th August 2015 and will last approximately three months. Works will take place on Ballinteer Road between the Sandyford Green Route and the junction of Ballinteer Road/Ballinteer Avenue.

Stop / Go Traffic Management will be in place at junction with College Park intermittently between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Broadford Hill, Ballinteer *Footpath reconstruction works will continue until Friday, 18th September 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Grove Avenue - from Mount Merrion to Avoca Avenue *Footpath reconstruction works will continue until Friday, 18th September 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Irish Water *Irish Water meter installation works will continue next week.

» M50/M11 - Northbound/Southbound

M50: Junction 16 (Cherrywood) to Junction 13 (Sandyford) Northbound – Lane 2 Closure from 22.00 hours on Wednesday, 16th September 2015 to 06.00 hours on Thursday, 17th September 2015 to facilitate Median Grass Cutting.
