What is BOG?

BOG (Boiled Off Gas) is the vapor generated due to the ambient heatinput into a LNG tank.

The composition of BOG is lighter than that of LNG. To maintain the pressure level in the LNG tank, BOG must be released

from the LNG tank.Effective BOG utilization is Key for Optimum LNG Terminal Operation
