INTRODUCCINEl Proyecto Estructural contempla la construccin de una Edificacin en tres (3) plantas, sobre el Lote de la Urbanizacin Bosques de Granada, de propiedad de JOSE ALBERTO NUEZ, predio ubicado en la Calle 73A No. 113A- 42, del Barrio Bosques de Granada, de la ciudad de Bogot D. C. Toda la construccin se utilizar en un (1) solo USO: VIVIENDA. El edificio se compone de tres apartamentos, uno en el primer nivel y dos apartamentos duplex en el segundo y tercer nivel., en la azotea se cuenta con el cerramiento de la escalera el cual sostiene 3 tanques de 500 litros.La edificacin tiene la categora de construccin residencial con uso principal VIVIENDA, de acuerdo con el rea del lote a construir y la altura de la misma ( tres plantas y terraza ). La categora del lote es normal (est en el rango de 100-250 M2, hasta cuatro (4) pisos) y menor de 1000 M2 construidos).El lote de proyecto es un predio con frente de 7.60 mts y con fondo mximo de 11.00 mts, y colinda vecindariamente con predios que igualmente tienen un uso mixto, y vivienda, en los costados occidental, sur y norte.

El proyecto se ubica en zona de amenaza ssmica intermedia de acuerdo a la norma sismorresistente de 1998, NSR-98.

La Edificacin est planteada en estructura conformada por Prticos en estructura en concreto reforzado, en los dos sentidos ortogonales. Las placas de entrepiso sern losas macizas con vigas descolgadas con un espesor de losa de 15 centmetros de espesor en concreto de 3000 psi y acabado en paete y pintura. Contendr la edificacin una (2) escaleras laterales para la entrada a los dos apartamentos duplex y otras dos escaleras que hacen parte de cada apartamento duplex.. Las escaleras, en concreto reforzado de 1.10 metros de ancho.La cimentacin ser en zapatas aisladas con vigas de amarre de acuerdo al estudio de suelos para este proyecto.

Los materiales que componen el prtico espacial, son concreto de 21.1 MPa para vigas, placa de entrepiso, columnas, cimentacin, con refuerzo corrugado de 420 MPa. Los muros de fachada estn compuestos de ladrillo tolete a la vista con un peso de 300 kg/m2 y muros divisorios en materiales tradicionales con un peso de 380 kg/m2, los acabados para los entrepisos son baldosn cermico de 2 cm.

El cdigo base empleado para el anlisis y diseo de la estructura es la Norma Colombiana de Diseo y Construccin Sismo Resistente de 1998 de la Asociacin Colombiana de Ingeniera Ssmica AIS, y la Microzonificacin ssmica de la ciudad de Bogot.Los programas utilizados para el anlisis y diseo de la estructura son: ETABS V.8.4.8, con el cual se obtiene todo el anlisis estructural del edificio, que incluye acciones y desplazamientos de todos los elementos del sistema, UNCOL para el diseo de columnas, DCCAD para el diseo de vigas y hojas de clculo de Ms-Excel para el diseo de los dems elementos estructurales y no estructurales y AUTOCAD para la presentacin de los planos.

1.1 Criterios de Diseo Ssmico

El proyecto est ubicado de acuerdo a la microzonificacin ssmica de Bogot (El Decreto 074 del 30 de enero de 2001 por medio del cual se identifican los lmites de la micro zonificacin ssmica y se adoptan los espectros del diseo para Bogot D. C., y de acuerdo al artculo 2. de dicho decreto) en la Zona 4, y en una zona de amenaza ssmica intermedia de acuerdo a la NSR-98, la estructura tiene un grado de disipacin de energa moderado DMO (Disipacin Moderada de Energa), el valor que define el espectro de respuesta ssmica de aceleracin espectral mxima del terreno para la Zona 4 y los parmetros ssmicos son:

S3=1.51.2 Caractersticas de los materiales empleados.Las siguientes son las especificaciones mnimas establecidas para los materiales utilizables en la construccin:

(a) Concreto - El concreto debe tener una resistencia a la compresin a los 28 das, fc, igual o superior a 21 Mpa, el cual ser utilizado en placas de contrapiso, columnas, zapatas, vigas y placas de entrepiso.Los solados de limpieza deben tener una resistencia a la compresin de 14 MPa.(b) Acero de refuerzo - El acero de refuerzo longitudinal debe ser corrugado. En ningn caso, el acero de refuerzo puede tener un lmite de fluencia, fy, inferior a 420 MPa..2. Dimensionamiento de la losa.Para la construccin se tendr una losa maciza en dos direcciones, por tener luces entre apoyos con longitudes admisibles. Para calcular el espesor mnimo de la losa recurrimos a la NSR -98 a la tabla C9.1(a) la cual referencia los valores mnimos de espesores de losas macizas para que no haya necesidad de calcular deflexiones, de vigas y losas, no preesforzadas que trabajan en una direccin y que sostengan muros divisorios y particiones frgiles susceptibles de daarse debido a deflexiones grandes:

De acuerdo con la configuracin establecida, el modelo maneja luces simplemente apoyadas, con los dos apoyos continuos y con un solo apoyo continuo, la revisin se realizo en las dos direcciones de manera independiente. Los espesores de losa obtenidos son los siguientes.

Se trabajara con un espesor de 0.15 m, con vigas descolgadas en ambas direcciones. El detalle de la placa con las vigas descolgadas se muestra en la Figura 2.1 y la configuracin estructural en planta de la placa de entrepiso en la Figura 2.2.

Una vez hecha esta distribucin proseguimos a realizar la evaluacin de cargas, para dimensionar las columnas.3. Evaluacin de cargas Se realiz la evaluacin de cargas de la placa maciza de los entrepisos, y la evaluacin de cargas de la placa que sostiene los tanques de agua en el cuarto nivel.

Una vez evaluada la carga por metro cuadrado se procede a su aplicacin sobre la losa del modelo estructural, utilizando elementos tipo Shell. Adicionalmente se aplicaron en las vigas, las cargas producidas por el peso propio de los muros, las cuales se presentan en la Tabla 3.1.

4. Dimensionamiento de columnasSe clculo un rea aproximada de la columna por medio de la siguiente expresin, de acuerdo a la NSR-98 Seccin C.10.3.5:

EMBED Equation.3 Suponiendo la cuanta mnima en las columnas (0.01Ag), y con un rea de aferencia para las columnas de cada estructura, como se observa en las siguientes figuras, se puede calcular una seccin aproximada para la Columna Tipo.

Se dimensionaran todas las columnas de la estructura con una dimensin de 0.25 x 0.25 m ya que se encuentran unas luces pequeas en las dos direcciones del edificio.5. Modelacin Estructural

Una vez dimensionado la estructura, se contina con la introduccin del modelo en el programa ETABS V.8.4.8, se introduce la geometra y dimensiones dadas en el predimensionamiento para realizar as la modelacin con el mtodo modal espectral, se carga el modelo de acuerdo con la evaluacin de cargas realizada y se comienza a analizar el modelo, para la utilizacin de este mtodo se necesita introducir el espectro de diseo de la estructura, el cual para est estructura en particular es la del espectro de la micro zonificacin ssmica de Bogot para la zona 4 lacustre A, el cual se muestra a continuacin:

Introducido este espectro en los modelos, se debe verificar que el cortante dinmico en cada una de las direcciones sea por lo menos el 80% del cortante dado por el mtodo de la fuerza horizontal equivalente (NSR-98 A.5.4.5), a continuacin se muestra la revisin de esta condicin y la correccin necesaria si es el caso, para cada uno de los modelos en estudio.

Adicionalmente se debe verificar que la sumatoria de participacin de masa dada por todos los modos de la estructura sea por lo menos del 90%.

Realizada esta verificacin y correccin en los modelos se puede verificar el cumplimiento de las derivas.

Para la modelacin de la vigas y las columnas se utilizaron elementos Frame, para cargar los modelos se cargaron las respectivas placas (utilizando elementos tipo Shell por ser losas solo para distribuir el peso sobre la placa), aplicando la carga muerta y viva por metro cuadrado obtenida a partir de la evaluacin de cargas. Adicionalmente, las vigas perimetrales se cargaron con el peso de los muros que soportan y las columnas reciben la carga de cubierta como una carga puntual; los apoyos de las columnas se simularon mediante empotramientos. El modelo tridimensional se presenta en las Figura 2.2.

Tambin deben tenerse en cuenta en el anlisis de las estructuras los efectos torsionales de acuerdo con lo referenciado en la NSR-98 y que a continuacin se cita:

A3.6.7 - TORSION EN EL PISO: En el diseo deben tenerse en cuenta los efectos de torsin en el piso, de acuerdo con los requisitos de A.3.6.7.1 a A.3.6.7.3, considerando que estos provienen, o bien, de la Incertidumbre en la localizacin de las masas dentro del piso, lo cual conduce a una torsin accidental, o bien debido a la excentricidad entre el centro de masas y el centre de rigidez cuando los diafragmas se consideran rgidos en su propio plano.

Torsin accidental: La norma se cuida de los efectos de torsin ya que ellos causan grandes daos en elementos estructurales y no estructurales y por esto estipula que se considere una torsin adicional a la torsin real de la estructura. Esta torsin llamada accidental se calcula considerando que la masa de todos los pisos est desplazada transversalmente hacia cualquiera de los dos lados, del centro de masa de cada piso, una distancia igual al 5% de la dimensin de la edificacin en ese piso, medida perpendicularmente a la direccin bajo estudio. (A.3.6.7.1).

Los efectos torsionales de las estructuras fueron tenidos en cuenta en el anlisis modal que realiza el programa ETABS, ya que uno de los parmetros que se ingresa al programa cuando se definen los casos de espectro de respuesta es la excentricidad, la cual es del 5%.

Los modelos se cargaron de acuerdo con la evaluacin de cargas sobre placas tipo Shell; en las vigas se aplic la carga de los muros perimetrales, la carga de sismo esta dada por los dos casos de espectro que son sismo en la direccin X y sismo en la direccin Y. A continuacin se presenta el modelo cargado, considerando los casos de carga muerta y carga viva, sobre las vigas y las placas.

De acuerdo a la NSR-98 en A.6.3, la deriva mxima en cualquier punto del piso i, se obtiene como la diferencia entre los desplazamientos horizontales totales mximos del punto en el piso i y los desplazamientos horizontales totales mximos de un punto localizado en el mismo eje vertical en el piso i-1, por medio de la siguiente ecuacin:

La deriva mxima evaluada en cualquier punto de la estructura, no puede exceder los lmites establecidos en la tabla A.6-1 de la NSR-98, en la cual la deriva mxima se expresa como un porcentaje de la altura de piso hpi:

Adems de la verificacin de las derivas se clculo el ndice de flexibilidad el cual indica la susceptibilidad de la estructura a tener deflexiones o derivas excesivas, con respecto a las permitidas por el la NSR-98. El ndice de flexibilidad del piso, se define como el cociente entre la deflexin o deriva obtenida del anlisis de la estructura, y la permitida por el Reglamento, para cada uno de los pisos de la edificacin, y el ndice de flexibilidad de la estructura se define como el mayor valor de los ndices de flexibilidad de piso de toda la estructura.

Como se realiza un anlisis modal espectral, se verifican las derivas aplicando el sismo en su totalidad en cada una de las direcciones, es decir sismo en la direccin x y sismo en la direccin y.

A continuacin se muestran las tablas en donde se verificaron las derivas, de acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos en la modelacin en el programa ETABS V.8.

Para facilitar la localizacin de los nudos en el modelo, se plante la numeracin presentada en la siguiente figura.

El anlisis se efectu utilizando columnas de seccin 0.25x0.25 m, la verificacin de derivas para la totalidad del sismo aplicado en la direccin X y en la direccin Y, cumple con los requisitos establecidos por la Norma NSR-98. A continuacin se muestran las tablas con los resultados obtenidos.

7. Combinaciones de Carga.

Se tomaron en cuenta para las combinaciones de carga los efectos de carga muerta, de carga viva y las cargas impuestas por el sismo de acuerdo al espectro de la Microzonificacin Ssmica de Bogot. Las combinaciones de carga estn de acuerdo a las contempladas en el Titulo B de la NSR-98, en el numeral B.2.4.2. A continuacin se muestran las combinaciones utilizadas con sus respectivas convenciones, la letra C indica que se utiliz en el diseo de columnas, y la letra V que se utiliz en el diseo de vigas.

8. Diseo Estructural.

Una vez se ha logrado que la estructura cumpla con los requisitos de derivas se procede con el diseo estructural. El Diseo Estructural se realiz siguiendo el mtodo de la resistencia ltima, se disearon vigas, columnas, placa maciza, cimentacin y muros no estructurales, segn los requisitos de la NSR 98.

8.1 Diseo de Columnas

A partir de la modelacin en el programa ETABS V.8.4.8 se obtuvieron las acciones internas de los elementos, con estas acciones internas se determin el refuerzo longitudinal y transversal de las columnas con el programa DCCAD.Se presenta el diseo de una Columna Tipo ya que todas tienen la misma seccin y el mismo numero de niveles.

El diseo de la columna que sostiene la placa de los tanques es la siguiente:

8.2 Diseo de Vigas

A continuacin se muestra el diseo de los 11 tipos de vigas presente en la estructura. La numeracin de los elementos de Etabs se muestra en la siguiente grfica..

Las revisiones y formulas que maneja el programa DCCAD son las mismas que maneja la NSR-98 y se enuncian a continuacin para flexin y cortante:

Encontrado el refuerzo de las vigas, se ajustaron los despieces encontrados por el programa DCCAD para cada tipo de viga existente, y se tuvo en cuenta para esto las longitudes de translapo exiguidas por la norma, las cuales se muestran a continuacin:

8.3. Diseo de Placa Maciza

8.4. Diseo de Cimentacin.Esta estructura se cimentar sobre zapatas aisladas unidas mediante vigas de amarre. Para el diseo de la cimentacin se tomo en cuenta la carga muerta y la carga viva.
