You would want to back up your information as much as possible to gainmore information that could assist with ‘destroying’ your opponent’s

arguments.

Would you trust someone with 6 reliable articles to back up their informationof 1 person with information from a biased website.

For example: Having 6 articles from cancer centers disapproving the increaseof cancer risk will destroy an argument with only 1 article, that too an article

from a PRO-LIFE organization.

The Databases have more reliable articles because they regularly conductevaluations. This filters out all the opinionated and biased articles and keep

the one with facts.

Search engines such as Google do not conduct these evaluations. They giveyou all the information available even if it is biased or untrue.

This limits the efficiency of Google.

Wikis and Blogs are not fact based. Anyone can write and answer questions inon these sites. But this doesn’t not mean these sites should not be used at all.

They can be used to gain a basic understanding of the subject. For example

you could learn about the earth’s composition and the internal workings of the earth by using these websites. But you should not use the information andanswers on these websites as your sole research for that topic.
