Dear all Club Presidents and Leos,

Thank you very much for your consistent support. I am here to stand up to carry the

responsibility for the development of the Leo District 303 Hong Kong & Macao,

China and engage in the election campaign for the position of the District President.

Leo Club is a root which nourishes me. It is the most enlightening place in my life. In

the past seven years in Leo Club, many Lions and Leos provided me a lot of learning

opportunities. Leo Club is a training platform for the young social service leaders –

let’s fully utilize our leisure time, actively engage in social services, show the

leadership skills in building a harmony society acquire experience through social

services, capture the opportunities to know more international issues. Grow in Leo,

Learn in Leo, Contribute to Leo. To me, instead of a candle which does not last long,

life of Leo is more like a splendid torch. From year 2012 – 2013, I am willing to hold

this torch firmly. When the time I pass it to next leader of the District, I will make

sure that it will become much more splendid.

My election theme is : Life influence life, Life touched by life,

Life kindle life. I wish our Leo serving spirit can influence more young people to join

voluntary services. I expect more Leos will be touched by our serious dedication to

services and take up the leadership positions. I hope our caring services will bring

lights to the life of the needy in the society. Here, I whole-heartedly wish that you

could vote me with trust!

Life Journey - connect the engagement and cooperation of different communities - serve the social need with little concern together - co-organize by “Government”, “Public”, “Organizations” and “ School” - respond to social traditional culture : life and death education Mainland Service - voluntary teaching for village students; village hosting experience; farm work - raise fund for improving village school facilities - exchange with mainland volunteers; visit to Lions Club in China Leo Service Fund - actively promote Leo Service Fund - encourage co-organizing services and club sharing - theme service group to be applied by club - service funding guidelines to optimize the allocation of resources

International Relations & Global Vision International horizon - theme as “World Prevention Leprosy Day” with its 60 anniversary - explore and understand a different life – “being forgotten” - promote the message of One World. - join hands with Leo Club in Taiwan and Hong Kong Exchange Organization International Youth Exchange Camp - actively promote international youth exchange camp - cooperate with Lions club to the international youth exchange camp

Leos Spring Dinner - organize spring dinner which will be themed as “ in honor of Past Presidents” - appreciate the contribution made by Past Presidents and look forward to the 35th anniversary.

Membership - organize LEO Talk and Observers’ Service Day to recruit teenagers

- promote LEO District Service to schools and college ; membership matching District Award - compose and announce the district award and guidelines in Q1 - promote awardees experience sharing and heritage

Club development - Hold discussion session regularly by providing platform for idea sharing and support seeking - make statistics for club census data for development strategic plan

Training

Practical training - hold Leo Forum to provide both soft and hard-skills training - promote sharing and equip LEO leaders. - President training, Secretary training, Treasurer training, Protocol training - invite guest speakers : leadership skills, team management, persuasive speaking and communication - skills of applying service funds and business sponsorship

Lions resources - invite Leo to join Lions training workshop - linkup mentoring program with Lions (e.g. stage management, venue coordination etc)

Professional training - bridge up training organizations or trainers for providing professional training - look for tuition fee discount offer to LEO members (e.g. adventure trainer training, first aid training)

PR & Communication

Image promotion - optimize utility of online platform to promote Leo image and voluntary activities - join social commendation scheme -‘Caring Organization’ by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service - exchange with other NGOs, volunteering organization and young societies (e.g Networking Lunch)
