Sponsorship/Advertising

As a Society we are always very grateful to our Sponsors and Advertisers for their generous support at the Show, without which it would not be able to operate.

Have you ever considered becoming a sponsor? It really does not cost as much as you think – for as little as £10.00 you could sponsor one of the

smaller classes and as with all sponsorship, every little helps.

Why not complete and post form to the Sponsorship/Advertising Secretary (details at the bottom of the page) - we really would be very grateful.

LONG REINING CLASSAll competitors to enter the ring and circle clockwise, changing rein and direction across the diagonal of the ring as directed by the Judge.

Once the Judge is satisfied he/she will call competitors into a provisional line up.

Each competitor will come forward when indicated by the Judge for individual inspection and their individual show.

The Judge will check safety and fit and fitting of harness.

The individual show will consist of: - a 10 metre circle to the right at a trot - a 10 metre circle to the left at a walk (during these movements the handler should follow the donkey’s path) - a slalom of 5 half circles (4 meter radius) alternate right and left (cones may be used; during this movement the donkey will travel in curves and the handler will

travel a straight course - a halt for 10 seconds followed by a 4 pace rein back and a 4 pace walk forward - competitor will then salute the Judge and return to the line up from behind.
