II. 书面表达的五个步骤

1. 仔细审题，找出主题 (Read the directions carefully, look through all the words or pictures given to you in order to find the main idea.)

2. 认真阅读所给提示或图画，抓住所有细节，找出每幅 图画或每个句子的中心词。 (Find out the key words )

Step 3. 把中心词或词组扩展成句子。

(Extend the words and phrases to sentences.)

Step 4. 把以上句子编排成一个段落，在必要的地方加入一些连接词或句子。(Arrange these sentences in order, getting in some linking words where necessary.)

Step 5. 通读全文，仔细检查。(Read through the whole passage to make sure that no mistakes are made.)

根据下列图画中 Tom 骑自行车的经历，用英语写一篇短文。短文要写得连贯、完整。字数 100 字左右。

III. 书面表达注意事项

Tip One

1. 适当运用关联词等使句子更为流畅。

On one side of the road there is a new classroom building.On the other side,where the playground used to be now stands another new building—our library. (NMET1999 范文 )

使用恰当的连接词

逻辑角度 合适的过渡性词汇时间顺序 first, second, then, finally/at last , soon

immediately, suddenly

空间顺序 here, there, on one side…on the other side,in front of, at the back of, next to

对称顺序 for one thing, for the other thing, on one hand,on the other hand

转折顺序 but, however, while, though, otherwise

因果顺序 because, since, as, thanks to, as a result (of)

条件顺序 as long as, so long as, on condition that, if, unless

让步顺序 though, as, even if/though, whether, who 　 　(what,when, where)ever

递进顺序 what’s more, besides, to make the matter worse,what’s worse

过渡性插入语 I think, I’m afraid, you know, As we all know

避免使用没有把握、不熟悉的词汇和句型，避免可以避免的错误

3. 留心汉英表达差异 , 避免中式英语。

1) 父母对我们期望很高。
