친애하는 서울YMCA 총회원 여러분!먼저, 바쁘신 가운데도 오늘 제112회 정기총회에 참석해주신 총회원 여러분들을 진심으로 환영하며 감사말씀을 드립니다. 아울러 지난 한해에도, 주님의 몸된 기관인 YMCA에서 택함 받은 사명을 잘 감당하기 위한 일념으로 봉사와 헌신을 다해 애써주신 총회원 여러분들께 깊이 감사드립니다.

만물이 소생하는 봄기운이 움츠렸던 우리의 몸과 마음을 활짝 열어 주듯이 바라옵기는 오늘 정기총회가 지난 한 해 동안 뿌린 씨앗과 결실을 돌아보고 올 한해 YMCA가 추구하고자 하는 목표와 비전에 열린 마음으로 채비하고 다가가는 계기가 되기를 소망합니다.

또한, 오늘 정기총회 시간이 만남과 친교, 나눔과 소통을 공유하는 가운데 부족한 점에 대한 아쉬움보다는 지난해 사업 분석과 통찰로 새롭게 수립된 사업계획과 방향에 대한 긍정적 사고와 진취적 의지 안에 합한 각오와 결의를 다지는 귀한 시간되기를 기원해마지 않습니다.

경애하는 서울YMCA 총회원 여러분!지난 한해를 돌이켜보면, 국내외적으로 많은 변화와 도전이 있었습니다. 우리의 삶에 있어 길흉화복은 변화가 많아 예측하기 어렵다는 면에서 문득 새옹지마란 말이 참으로 실감이드는 현실인 것 같습니다. 자연 및 인적재난이 비일비재 발생하고 안전에 대한 우려가 끊임없이 제기되는 가운데 지속된 글로벌 경기침체와 이념분쟁에 따른 국제정세불안은 국내적으로도 적지 않은 부정적 영향을 미치며 실로 감당키 힘들었던 사회적 난제를 양산하는 등 그 아쉬움에 대한 여운이 아직 쉽게 가시지 않았음을 또한 부인할 수 없는 것 같습니다.

해를 거듭해도 이념·세대·빈부·종교·민족·계층에 걸쳐 대립과 갈등이 지속·심화되는 사회현실에 안타까움을 금하기 힘든 게 사실이고, 여기에 예기치 못한 상황에서 빚어지는 여러 세속적 번뇌는 우리로 하여금 많은 심적 고민과 갈등으로 시험에 드는 원인으로 작용하고 있습니다. 물론 우리의 삶 가운데 때로는 기쁨과 만족이, 때로는 아픔과 불만이 드리워질 수도 있지만 하나님 기관인 YMCA에서 소임을 맡은 우리는, 주님의 귀한 섭리로 특별히 택함 받은 기독사역자들이기에 어떠한 세속적 난관과 불의에도 온전한 신앙의 테두리에서 추호의 흔들림 없이 임하는 자세와 태도를 지녀야 하겠습니다.

공경하는 서울YMCA 총회원 여러분!과거 척박했던 우리사회에, 서울YMCA가 설립되어 112년여에 걸쳐 역할과 소임을 감당하기까지 그 찬연한 역사의 이면에는 분명 하나님의 거룩하신 뜻과 섭리가 임하였음을 우리는 고백하지 않을 수 없습니다. 그러한 하나님의 부르심에 힘입어 YMCA운동에 몸담은 많은 그리스도의 제자들이 우리사회의 버팀목 역할을 잘 수행해온 근간에는 합력하여 선을 이루기를 원하는 우리 주 예수그리스도의 숨결과 성령의 은사로 가능했음을 또한 믿어 의심치 않습니다.

이처럼, YMCA의 역사가 지속적으로 계승·발전해 오기까지 오직 주를 향한 믿음과 소망 안에 특별히 헌신적 노고를 아끼지 않으신 회원여러분들의 은혜로운 손길에 감사와 존경을 표하는 바입니다. 그간 합심으로 이끌어주신 바와 같이, 2015년 을미년 한해에도 서울YMCA가 세상의 빛과 소금의 역할을 능히 감당하는데 부족함이 없도록 회원 여러분들의 적극적인 관심과 성원 바랍니다.

Dear members of Seoul YMCAFirst of all, I would like to welcome all of you with my whole heart and express gratitude for attending the 112th General Assembly despite busy despite busy schedules. And also, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for your services and dedication to fulfill the duty of realizing the purpose of the YMCA movement which is to extend the Kingdom of God.

As an air of spring which is the season when all living things come to life opens our body and heart, I hope that this General Assembly could become an opportunity to look back to the seeds and fruits of last year, and prepare for the objectives and vision that YMCA pursues with open mind.

Also, I wish it is the time of gathering, friendship, sharing and communication to make a fresh resolution in positive thinking and enterprising will for the new operational plan and direction established from analyzing last year’s move-ment and insight rather than regret for the insufficiency of the last year.

Honorable members of Seoul YMCA!As we look back on the last year, there were lots of changes and challenges locally and internationally. It’s true that there’s always ups and downs in life because life is hard to tell fortunes because it’s full of variety. It is undeniable truth that the impressions of the regret from last year still lingers in our minds that we couldn’t solve our country’s social difficulties effected considerably from nervous international situations caused by persistent recession and ideological dispute while the concern about safety is constantly brought up because natural disasters and manmade accidents are commonplace.

as years go by, it is true that we feel pity for the social reality of continuous and deepening conflict and dispute all over ideology, generation, the rich and the poor, religion, ethnic group race, social stratum etc. And the earthly agonies caused by unforeseen circumstances lead us into temptation with emotional worry and entanglement. It is true that there are joy and satisfaction, and sometimes pain and dissatisfaction in our lives. But because we are Christian ministers chosen by God’s providence and take up our duties in the YMCA of God’s organization, we have to have steadfast attitude within the whole faith under any earthly difficulty and injustice.

Respectable members of Seoul YMCA!We have to confessed that God’s will and providence had come to our barren society until Seoul YMCA was established and could fulfill the role and duty for 112 years if we think the hidden side of brilliant history. And I’m sure that there was the breath and blessing of Jesus Christ, who wanted us to do good with one accord, which made it possible that His disciples could fulfill their role the buttress in our society by calling of God, Like this, I would like to express my heartful gratitude and respect for your merciful hands who spared no strenuous efforts in the faith and hope towards God until the history of YMCA could be continued and developed. As all of you had led the YMCA with one accord, I would like to ask your active interest and support to enable Seoul YMCA to do its role of light and salt in the world in 2015.

창립111주년을 맞이한 서울YMCA는 그리스도의 공동체로서 맡겨진 사명을 다하기 위해 노력해왔습니다. 2014년

우리는 변화하는 시대를 바라보며 시대변화에 부응하는 YMCA 운동과제를 찾고 각 운동영역마다 참으로 많은

씨를 뿌려왔습니다.

특히 2014년에는 대한민국 사회에 팽배해져가는 안전 불감증으로 인해 안전에 대한 가치가 소외되고 있음을

깨닫고, 모든 사업과 운동을 추진함에 있어서 안전을 최우선의 가치로 여기고 안전한 회원활동 확보를 위해

최선의 노력을 기울였습니다.

Taking advantage of the 111th anniversary, Seoul YMCA put every effort to fulfill its mission as a Christian community. During the year of 2014, we tried to find out tasks meeting the demands of the times, and planted a lot of seeds in each areas.

Especially 2014 was the year for us to realize the insensitivity towards safety that is prevalent in our society, and we devoted ourselves to secure safe membership activities considering safety the utmost value in each projects and move-ments.

서울YMCA는 회원들의 적극적인 참여와 봉사를 통해 회원운동체로서의 YMCA운동을 펼쳤습니다.

Seoul YMCA developed the YMCA movement that members played a pivot role through members’ active participation and dedication.

YMCA운동의 기반인 회원들의 적극적이고 자발적인 참여를 이끌어내기 위하여 「2015 회원모집운동」을 적극적으

로 전개하여 개인회원 19,761명 및 341단체를 모집하고 총 868,662,584원의 회비를 모금하여 회원동력화를 위하여 노

력하였습니다.

We carried out 「2015 Intensive Membership Recruiting Campaign」 in order to encourage the active and voluntary participa-tion of members who were the foundation of the YMCA movement, and for the membership mobilizing. On the result, 19,761 individual members and 341 group members were participated with the membership fee of 868,662,584 KRW.

유지지도력과 실무지도력이 새로운 서울YMCA 운동과제 모색을 위해 실시한「사업연구회(5월 21일 ~ 22일)」

는‘안전한 사회를 만들기 위한 서울YMCA운동과제 모색’이라는 주제로 대전에 위치한 계룡스파텔에서 열렸

습니다. 또한 서울YMCA 간사 지도력 향상을 위한「리더스워크숍(7월 10일 ~ 12일)」이‘지역사회 리더로서의

YMCA 역할’이라는 주제로 부산 및 대마도에서 실시하였습니다.

「Research Conference(May 21 - 22)」 was held with the participation of lay leaderships and professional leaderships under the theme of ‘Seeking Seoul YMCA Movement Task for Building Safe Society’ at the Kyeryong Spatel in Daejeon. 「Leader’s Workshop(July 10 - 12)」 was hosted in Busan and Tsushima Island with the title of ‘YMCA’s Role as Leader of Society’ in order to improve the leadership of Seoul YMCA’s secretaries.

일 ~ 28일)」를“The calling”이라는 주제로 개최하였습니다.

Under the title of ‘Member Response and Service’, 「Seoul YMCA Staff’s On-the-job Training(July 6)」 was held. With the theme of ‘The Calling’, we hosted 「Special Course of Christian Faith(November 26 - 28)」 for YMCA staffs to learn the life of Jesus Christ, and build character and cherish values as a Christian.

Youth Movement청소년운동

청소년운동체로서 서울YMCA는 청소년운동의 기본 목적인 Peace Maker를 바탕으로 청소년들에게 다양한 활동 및 프로그램을 실시하여 청소년들의 바람직한 인격형성과 건전한 청소년문화 형성을 이루는데 청소년운동체로 역할과 사명을 다 하고자 노력하였습니다.

Based on Peace Maker which is the basic purpose of Youth Movement of Seoul YMCA as the youth-oriented association, we put every effort to fulfill our role and mission for youth to build desirable character and healthy culture through various activities and programs.


청소년 자치활동으로는 청소년 유해환경 거리캠페인 등을 전개하며 세월호 침몰사고 이후‘청소년이 안전하고 평화로운 세상 만들기’가두 캠페인을 실시하여 서로의 아픔을 나누고 공감하였습니다. 또한 한글날을 맞이하여 청소년들이 직접 제작한 한글 티셔츠를 판매하고 얻은 수익금과 기부금 전액을 한글발전기금으로 한글학회와 한글박물관에 기부하였고, 청소년녹색장터 참가자들이 적립한 기부금은 다문화 가정을 위한 김장 봉사활동에 사용되었습니다. 서울YMCA 청소년 오케스트라는‘우리들의 꿈, 날개를 달다.’라는 주제로 창단연주회를 개최하였습니다.

청소년 문화 활동으로 에너지와 문명, 합리적인 에너지 소비에 대해 알아보는‘신나는 에너지 놀이터!’어린이 Y클럽과 정책의 주체인 아동이 직접 참여하여 스스로의 권리를 찾고 사회 인격체로서 존중받는 사회를 만들고자「제11회 대한민국아동총회 서울지역대회」를 실시하였습니다.

청소년 신문고에서는 카카오엘로우아이디를 통한 사이버 상담, 전화상담, 부모 또는 청소년이 직접 방문하는 내방상담이 진

행되고 있으며, 청소년 소원우체통을 운영하여 소원을 가진 청소년들의 간절한 소원을 이루어지게 해주고 있습니다. 또한

청소년에게 상담자원봉사클럽 ‘다온’을 조직하여 상담스터디와 교육을 병행하고 있습니다.

In the youth volunteering activities, we carried out the Youth Harmful Environment Street Campaign for ‘Building Safe and Peace World for Youth’ to share pains and sympathize with it after the sinking accident of the Sewol Ferry. Also, on the occasion of Hangeul(Korean alphabet) Day, we made a donation to the Korean Language Society and the National Hangeul Museum with the contribution and profits from selling Hangeul T-shirts made by youth. Participants of Youth Green Market donated their profits to Kimchi Volunteering Service for Multi-culture Families. Seoul YMCA Youth Orchestra hosted its inauguration concert with the title of ‘Our Dream, Hang Wings’. In the youth culture activities, Children Y Club hosted ‘Fun Energy Playground!’ to learn about energy, culture and rational con-sumption. The Seoul Regional Conference of 「The 11th National Children Assembly in Korea」 was hosted in order to build a society where children could be respected as social human beings through encourage them in participating the policy-making process regarding children issues to find out their rights.Youth Sinmungo provided teenagers and their parents with counselling services through various methods including internet and phone. And also, we operated the Youth Wish Mailbox to have their earnest wishes granted, and organized a counsel vol-unteers club, ‘Daon’, with counselling study and education.

청소년 일시쉼터에서는‘찾아가는 거리상담’을 통해 가출 청소년 심리상태를 점검 상담하고 기초적인 의료 및

생필품을 지급하여 심리적 안정감을 되찾을 수 있도록 서비스를 제공하고 있습니다. 특별히 서울중앙지방검찰청

에서 아동·청소년 폭력 및 범죄 예방을 위한 시민네트워크 발대식 및 협약식을 맺었으며, 또한 2014년 후반기에

는 서울시로부터‘우리별’버스를 새롭게 지원받아 기존의“여우별”버스와 함께 2대의 버스로 거리 상담을 확

대 운영하고 있습니다.

Youth Temporary Shelter has provided runaway teenagers with various services including street counselling, free medical treatment, free daily necessaries etc to let them regain their mental securities. Especially, we established a civil network with other organizations and Seoul Public Prosecutors’ Office for prevention of violence and crime against children and teenagers. Also, we could expand the street counselling with 2 buses; one was newly supported from Seoul city govern-ment.

동요의 저변 확대와 어린이들의 정서함양을 목적으로 올해 29회째를 맞이한 초록동요제는 동요포럼 및 심포지엄, 대한민국 동요대상 등의 프로그램을 전개하였으며, 특히 올해는‘LA한인과 함께하는 동요콘서트’및‘싱가포르 한인을 위한 동요페스티벌’등을 현지에서 시행하였습니다. 또한 한국 동요 90주년을 맞이하여‘동요를 부르는 사회를 그리다.’라는 주제로 이야기가 있는 동요 콘서트를 동요작가 윤극영 선생 생가에서 진행하였습니다.

To expand the base of children’s song, and foster children’s healthy emotion, the 29th Chorok Children’s Song Festival was hosted with several programs including the Forum and Symposium of Children’s Song. Especially in this year, Children’s Song Festival for Overseas Korean in LA and Singapore was hosted. Also, to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Korean Children’s Song, the Children’s Song Concert with Stories was hosted under the theme of ‘Draw a Society of Singing Children’s Song’ at the birthplace of Mr. Yun Geugyeong who was a chidren’s song writer.

Civil Movement시민운동

시민사회운동체로서 서울YMCA는 시민의식개발, 환경운동, 시민권익운동 등을 통하여 민주적 시민의식 양성과 시민과 함께 사랑과 정의의 가치가 실현되는 성숙한 시민사회를 만들기 위해 최선을 다 하였습니다.

Seoul YMCA did its best to foster a democratic citizenship and mature civil society that realize a value of participation and cooperation with citizen through various ac-tivities including citizenship development, environment movement, citizen’s rights and interests protection etc.


시민의식 개발 활동으로 YMCA 운동을 이끈 이상재 선생을 비롯한 10인의 삶과 사상을 쉽게 접할 수 있도록‘YMCA 인물콘서트’서적을 발간하고, 출판기념식 및 북콘서트를 개최하였습니다. YMCA 이웃분쟁조정센터에서 층간소음 문제 해결을 위한 제각마을 아파트 주민자율조정위원 모임은 서울시로부터 모범사레로 인정받아 타 아파트 단지에까지 확산되고 있으며 YMCA 갈등예방운동의 새로운 가능성을 열어가고 있습니다.

목요성서 강좌는 생명과 평화를 실천하는 최병성 목사를 초청하여 총 11회의 강의를 통해 삶의 현장 속에서 예수그리스도의 가르침을 본질대로 배우고 실천하며, 생명과 평화의 가치를 회복하는 귀한 시간이 되었습니다.

시민권익보호활동으로‘여행가격 총액표시제’를 위반해 개정 이후 소비자가 실제로 부담해야 하는 항공운임의 총액과 유류할증료 등을 누락시켜 표시·광고해 판매 해온 28개 여행사를 조사해 국토부와 공정위에 고발했습니다. 영화배우 김부선씨의 폭로로 인해 불거진 공동주택 난방비 조작과 관리비 운영비리 문제에 대하여‘공동주택 관리 투명화와 주민참여 방안 모색 토론회’를 개최하였습니다. 서울시 민간단체 공익활동 지원 사업으로‘상호배려와 존중하는 시민문화 만들기 캠페인’전개를 통해 성숙한 민주 시민문화 형성을 위해 노력하고 있습니다.

To develop citizenship, we published ‘YMCA Prominent Figure’, and held a book concert with ceremony of the publication. In the YMCA Neighbourly Dispute Mediation Center, we achieved recognition from Seoul city government for our effort to solve residents’ dispute caused by noise between floors in apartment houses through organizing a residential self-mediation community. It has expanded to other apartments, and has opened up possibilities of YMCA Conflict Prevention Movement.In the Thursday Bible Course, we invited Pastor Choi Byeong Sung and provided members and citizens with valuable time to learn Jesus Christ’s teaching, fulfill it in the daily lives, and recover the value of life and peace.To protect citizen’s rights, we investigated and reported 28 travel agencies to Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Korea Fair Trade Commission for advertising and selling travel packages without indicating the total amount of air freight charge and bunker adjustment factor that consumer had to bear. We held a forum discussion under the title of ‘Transparency of Apartment Houses Management and Way of Residents’ Participation’ regarding the corruption issue on fabricating heating bills of apartment houses and maintenance cost caused by a movie actress Kim Bu Sun’s reveal. And we tried our best to form a mature democratic civil culture through a campaign of ‘Building a Society of Mutual Consideration and Respect’ with support from Seoul city government.

신용사회운동으로 민생서포터즈는 경제적 이익보다 노동인권이 우선하는 사회를 만들고자 간접고용 개선과 청소

년 아르바이트 권익보호 활동을 기획하여‘노동인권이 안전한 사회 만들기 프로젝트’사업을 전개하였습니다.

또한 본회와 한국미래소비자포럼이 공동주최로“소비자 관점에서 본 금융소비자보호기구의 조직과 운영, 어떻게

할 것인가?”라는 주제로 토론회를 실시하였습니다.

To build a credit society, People’s Livelihood Supporters carried out ‘Project for Building a Society Securing Labor Hu-man rights’ with planning various activities for improving indirect employment and protecting teenagers’ rights of part-time job for the purpose of building a society where labor human rights took priority over economic interest. Also, we held a forum discussion with the theme of ‘How do we act about organization and operation of financial consumer protection body from the point of consumer’s view’ jointly with Korea Future Consumer Forum.

In cerebration of the 40th anniversary of Grain Bank, we held ‘Overseas Study Tour for Board Members of Grain Bank Federation’ in Kobe and Osaka, Japan with Korean YMCA in Osaka for the purpose of developing new project and fos-tering leadership. Also, we hosted a seminar to look into achievement and limitation of Grain Bank project for the last 40 years, and find out the new task and direction of YMCA rural movement to meet with the reality of rural society these days.To protect viewers’ rights, we invited the public to join in a prize contest for ‘the 5th YMCA Selected Good Broadcast Awards’ in order to discover visual media which gave viewers impression and hope with excellent picture and contents.

사회체육운동체로서 서울YMCA는 영·지·체의 균형된 인격형성과 건강한 시민문화 형성을 위하여 지역사회를 중심으로 다양한 스포츠프로그램을 보급하고 각종대회 및 경기력 향상운동 등 전문지도력 육성을 위하여 다양한 강습회 및 자격과정을 실시하였습니다.

As following the sport for all movement, Seoul YMCA popularized various sports programs with local communities as the center for the purpose of forming healthy civil culture with balanced character of spirit, mind and body, and held various lectures and courses for licenses to foster professional leadership through diverse competitions and performance-enhancing exercises.


시민들이 건강하고 행복한 삶을 유지하기 위해 사회체육부와 레져사업부를 중심으로 지역거점 YMCA를 활용하여 성

인, 청소년, 유아를 대상으로 다양한 사회체육운동을 전개하였습니다. 경기력향상활동으로“제85회 YMCA 전국유도

대회”등이 개최 되었습니다. 특별히, 올해는 덴마크국립 체조단이 방한하여“ORBITA”라는 주제로 서울을 비롯한 8

개 도시에서 공연과 강습회를 통해 청소년과 시민들에게 즐거움과 희망을 전해 주었습니다.

레저사업부에서는 사회안전망 확보를 위해 응급처치 및 심폐소생술 교육 강화를 하였고 더불어 해양경찰에게 인명구조

원 교육을 실시하였습니다. 또한 제2회 웰리힐리배 서울YMCA 전국 유소년 스키대회를 개최하여 동계 올림픽의 개최

국으로서 유소년 스키 선수 발굴 및 기술 향상에 일익을 담당하였습니다.

To keep citizen’s healthy and happy life, Spot for All Department and Leisure Department carried out variety of programs for adults, teenagers and children with making the best use of branches. To enhance performance, we held ‘85th YMCA National Judo Tournament’, ‘26th National Workers’ Basketball League’, ‘5th YMCA Kid’s World Cup’, ‘44th Mr. YMCA Competition’. Especially, we invited the National Danish Performance Team to give teenagers and citizen pleasure and hope through perfor-mances and lectures with the theme of ‘ORBITA’ in 8 cities.In the Leisure Department, we had a lifeguard training for Korea Coast Guard as well as strengthening the education of First aid and CPCR for securing social safety net. Also, we tried to find out juvenile ski player and improve their skills as a country holding the Winter Olympics through hosting the 2nd Seoul YMCA National Juvenile Ski Competition.

In the Yangjae YMCA, we invited the prize winner of the Mr. YMCA Competition and held a lecture for members and staffs. And we carried out various programs including Sports Voucher Project with Seocho-gu government, Children Physical Fitness Class for Preventing Obesity, Swimming Classes in the elementary schools etc.In the Seocho YMCA, we spread healthy life to local resident and members through the National Fitness 100 Project with the National Health Insurance Service.

양재YMCA에서는 회원과 직원을 대상으로 Mr.YMCA선발대회에서 입상한 선수를 강사로 초청하여 강습회를 개

최하였으며, 서초구청과 연계한 스포츠바우처사업, 비만예방 어린이체능교실, 지역 내 초등학교 수영프로그램, 인

비전을 통해 사회복지 전문성과 대내외적 역량을 바탕으로 지역사회복지운동 실천에 적극 노력하고 있습니다. 강

남YMCA의“사랑과 나눔의 바자회”와 서초YMCA의“사랑 나눔 한마음 바자회”를 개최하여 불우이웃 돕기와

어머니 클럽의 장학 사업을 지속적으로 진행하고 있습니다. 종로구 관내 홀몸어르신과 장애우등 지역의 어려운들

에게 YMCA 직원들의 잔전을 모아 사랑의 라면을 전달 하였습니다.

As celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Bangwha 11 Welfare Center, we made every effort to practice a community welfare movement based on professionalism and capabilities through the vision according with the philosophy and spirit of Seoul YMCA. In the Gangnam YMCA and Seocho YMCA, members of Mother’s Club held a charity bazaar for helping the poor families and students. We donated instant noodles to people in need including disabled people and seniors who lived alone.

In the Darakwon Campsite, we arranged the natural ecology experience area of reminding the value of nature and agriculture, and realizing local food with creating environment-friendly eco vegetable garden. And also, we opened the auto healing camp, and help citizen foster creative and enterprising spirit through the community life in the nature.



서해 장경리 해수욕장에 위치한 영흥해양센터에서는 지리적 특성을 이용하여 갯벌체험, 조개잡이, 아름다운 노을감상,

해변 트레킹 등의 프로그램을 진행하였고, 영흥도관광투어 및 인근 체험시설과 연계하여 프로그램을 개발하였습니다.

서울YMCA미래성장프로젝트「희망등대!2020」에제시된하나님의공의로운사회를실현하는서울YMCA,청소년의올바른가치실현과건전문화성장을지향하는서울YMCA,건강한삶의질향상을추구하는서울YMCA,지구촌시대리더로서평화로운세상을열어가는서울YMCA라는4개핵심비전의효율적달성을위해서는실무자,회원,유지지도력간의유기적관계형성을통한운동에동참이필수적요소이다.따라서유기적관계증진을위한각종위원회활성화를비롯한다양한회원참여와소통의방안을강구한다.

시민들의주체적이고조화로운인격을갖춘민주시민육성을위한민주시민교육,평화교육,층간소음과같은갈등을예방하기위한교육등다양한시민교육체계를마련하여평화적문제해결능력을키우고,또한재난으로부터의안전을담보하기위한시민안전매뉴얼제작등의활동을비롯하여시민들의행정·의정참여와감시활동을강화하여평화롭고안전한사회를만들기위한시민운동을전개한다.

Participation in the movement through building organic relationships among staffs, members and lay leaderships to accomplish the 4 core visions presented in the Seoul YMCA Future Growth Project 「Lighthouse of Hope! 2020」 ; Seoul YMCA realizing righteous society of God, Seoul YMCA aspiring towards realizing righteous value and healthy culture, Seoul YMCA promoting to improve the quality of life, Seoul YMCA opening the peaceful world as a leader in the global era. Therefore, Seoul YMCA considers the various plans to promote members’ participation and communication for increasing organic relationships including activating committees’ activities.

Seoul YMCA sets up various civic education system including democratic citizenship education to foster independent and harmonious character, peace education, conflict prevention education etc, and cultivates peaceful ability to solve problems. Also, it develops civil movement to build peaceful and safe society through carrying out various activities to secure safety from disasters including making a civil safety manual, strengthening citizen’s participation and observation on governmental administration and parliamentary government.

학교폭력을포함한각종폭력으로부터청소년들을안전하게보호하기위한사회적노력에적극동참하고,청소년유해감시단,청소년고민상담및각종문제해결을위한청소년신문고활동을강화한다.또한창의적역량개발을위한체험활동,글로벌역량강화를위한청소년국제교류확대등다양한리더십개발을위한프로그램을통해행복한미래를열어가는청소년운동을전개한다.

영·지·체의균형잡힌인격형성을목적으로하는YMCA사회체육운동을근간으로사회변화에따른시대적요구에부응하며선도적역할을감당하기위하여,응급처치운동본부의체계적운영,YMCA유소년스포츠프로그램활성화,자원지도력육성,YMCA스포츠클럽운영,지역보건소및의료기관과연계프로그램확대강화,장애인·노인등소외계층을위한스포츠프로그램연구,현장으로찾아가는아웃도어프로그램확대등을통해수명100세시대건강한스포츠복지문화실현을선도한다.

Seoul YMCA participates actively in social efforts to protect youth from various violences including school violence, and strengthens activities of the Youth Harmful Environment Monitoring Club and the Youth Sinmungo to counsel youth’s troubles and solve the problems. Also, it develops youth movement to open healthy future through various leadership development programs including experience activities to improve creative competence, youth international exchange to increase global leadership etc.

Based on the purpose of the YMCA sport for all movement which is to build balanced character of sound, mind and body, and to play a leading role as responding the needs of the times focused on social change, Seoul YMCA takes an initiating role to realize healthy sports welfare culture in the era of 100 aging society through systematic operation of the First-Aid Movement Headquarters, activation of YMCA youth sports programs, fostering volun-tary leaderships, operation of YMCA sports clubs, expansion of relating programs with local public health centers and medical centers, research on sports programs for a neglected class of people, expansion of outdoor programs etc.

세계대도시YMCA총무협의회,6개YMCA(서울,오사카,타이베이,홍콩중화,싱가포르메트로폴리탄,호놀룰루)실무자협의회,서울/타이베이/동경YMCA지도자대회,EAYUN(동아시아YMCA대도시총무협의회),결연YMCA등세계YMCA일원으로서국제적역할증진을위한방안을연구하고글로벌이슈에대한관심과참여속에국제교류활성화방안을모색한다.

Seoul YMCA strengthens the YMCA movement through regular training and education on YMCA identity and professionalism in each areas for YMCA staffs who take a leading role in social changes.

Through YMCA World Urban Network, 6 YMCAs Conference, Seoul/Taipei/Tokyo YMCA Leaders’ Consultation, East Asia YMCA Urban Network, sisterhood YMCAs etc, Seoul YMCA researches plans to promote an international role as a member of international YMCA movement and seeks for plans to activate international exchange with interest and participation in global issues.

서울YMCA가운영하고있는연수수련원및다락원캠프장에서는자체시설및공간을최대한활용하여유아·어린이·청소년·성인을대상으로특색있고경쟁력을갖춘특성화프로그램을개발한다.

일산청소년수련원에고양국제청소년문화센터(가칭)건립,다락원캠프장체육공원조성사업추진및기존시설의수련시설등록추진,금곡리·공주야영장기반시설조성,송파회관의재건축추진,본회및지역YMCA의노후시설개선등지속가능한성장을위한물적자원을개발한다.

원활한재정운영을위한재정의건전성회복이급선무임을인지하고세입기반을확대하고지출의효율성과생산성제고하며,지출요인점검을철저히하여수입과지출의균형예산달성을위해노력한다.

Seoul YMCA develops various specialized programs of characteristic and competitive for infants, children, teenagers and adults through using facili-ties and spaces in the Seoul YMCA Marine Center and Darakwon Campsite.

Seoul YMCA develop material resources for sustainable growth through building the Goyang International Youth Culture Center in the Ilsan Camp-site, developing a sports park in the Darakwon Campsite, developing campsite in Guemgok-ri and Gongju, promoting reconstruction of Songpa YMCA, improving outworn facilities in each YMCAs etc.

Seoul YMCA makes efforts to accomplish the balanced budget of income and expenses through recognizing the recovery of financial integrity for healthy finance operation, securing tax basis, enhancing the expenditure efficiency and productivity, and inspecting factors on expenditures thoroughly.
