MEDICINE AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Medicine has two basic meanings, it refers to 1. The Science of Healing, it is the practice of the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease, and the promotion of health. 2. Medications, drugs, substances used to treat and cure diseases, and to promote health. This collection of articles focuses on the science of healing, its history from prehistoric times until today, and the medications and healing methods used.

Some people might call medicine a regulated patient-focused health profession which is devoted to the health and well-being of patients. In their vocation, many people choose this career to help others. Medicine is incredibly important to us as students, we need medicine because, it helps me maintain or restore my health prevent of disease, injury and other damage to my body or mind. Medicine can cure illness, boost immunities, and provide extra nutrients and vitamins that the body can't produce or consume on a daily diet. For that reason, this science is really important for us the individual who wants to be healthy.
