La cercana geogrfica a Tnez y el hecho de que esta nueva especie se desarrolle en especies silvestres cercanas a nuestras reas de cultivo, justifica el inters de prevenir futuras infestaciones a los tradicionales cultivos de leguminosas de nuestra regin. En nuestro Departamento se inici un programa de mejora destinado a la bsqueda de marcadores moleculares estrechamente ligados a genes/QTLs (Quantitative trait loci) de resistencia al parsito para lo cual se requieren mapas de ligamiento saturados. Esta metodologa podra facilitar la seleccin de plantas con genes favorables para el carcter de inters. En la generacin F2 se localizaron as tres QTLs que explicaban el 74 % de la varianza fenotpica (Romn et al., 2002). Los objetivos de este trabajo son: (1) comprobar la existencia de los QTLs de resistencia a O. crenata descritos en la poblacin F2 en su correspondiente F6, (2) determinar su estabilidad en diferentes ambientes y, (3) determinar la localizacin y efectos de QTLs que controlan la resistencia a O. foetida y comparar los resultados con los obtenidos para la resistencia a O. crenata.MATERIALES Y METODOS
165 individuos F6 derivados del cruzamiento Vf6 x Vf136; Vf6 es susceptible y Vf136 resistente al parsito. La siembra se realiz en campos infestados de forma natural con jopo en Espaa (O. crenata) y Tnez (O. foetida). El diseo fue un alfa-ltice 13x12 con dos repeticiones. Cada parcela consisti en 10 semillas emplendose como testigo la variedad susceptible Brocal. Marcadores moleculares: se analizaron distintos isoenzimas, RAPDs, proteinas de reserva y microsatlites.RESULTADOS PRELIMINARES
En el caso de O. crenata identificamos en la poblacin F6 un gran nmero de individuos con ndices de resistencia que exedan en ambos sentidos a los parentales (Fig. 1A). Este hecho, descrito ya en la poblacin F2, refleja la existencia de segregacin transgresiva para el carcter que podra atribuirse a una accin complementaria de genes existentes en ambos parentales. Resultados similares se observaron en el caso de O. foetida (Fig. 1B).
Los marcadores presentados en la Tabla 1 estn siendo empleados para desarrollar el mapa gentico en la poblacin F6 donde se localizarn los putativos QTLs de resistencia y se estudiar su estabilidad en distintos ambientes.
