Nehéz idők járnak az Aerosmith rajongók számára. A nagy múltú amerikai rock banda ritkán jön át Európába, és most, hogy idén ez megtörténik, sajnos úgy néz ki, hogy nem látogatnak el, még csak hozzánk igazán közel eső országba sem… It is a hard time for the Aerosmith-fans. The reminiscent American rock band rarely comes to Europe, and this year it happens, but unfortunately it seems that they won't visit any real close countries to us… Szerencsés vagyok ebből a szempontból is, mivel én már láttam Őket élőben az MTK stadionban 1994.05.25-én. Ekkortájt két koncertet adtak egy éven belül, mivel beleszerettek Budapestbe. Azóta is megvan mindkét koncert hatalmas plakátja, jó darabig voltak fent a falon nálunk. Számomra is elgondolkodtató, hogy ezt a kicsit talán populárisabb zenét játszó zenekart miért zártam a szívembe, de elég csak az utolsó öt lemezükre gondolnom és máris elmúlik ez az enyhe kétkedésem. Szerintem nagyon egyedi, kellemes rockzenét játszanak, és játszottak régen is. Amíg régebben inkább blúzos témák voltak az uralkodóak, addig ma már valami kategóriákba nem sorolható, azonnal fülbemászó dallamokkal átitatott dalok a jellemezőek, remek lassú nótákkal, amik rendre meghódítják a rádióállomásokat és ezzel a hallgatók füleit is. A szerencse nem csak engem ért, az Aerosmith –el kapcsolatban… Amikor utoljára itt jártak, volt olyan szerencsés ismerősöm, aki személyesen is találkozhatott munkája közben a zenekar három-ötödével. Közös fotó, amiből a zenekar is kapott, kölcsönös aláírások, rövid közvetlen hangvételű csevegés, rendkívül kedves, közvetlen emberek….Röviden ennyi. I'm also lucky from this point of view , as I have already seen them live in the MTK Stadium on 25. 05 1994. At that time they gave two concerts within a year, as they fell in love with Budapest. Since that time I still have the huge posters of both concerts, they were on my walls for a long time. It's thought-provoking also for me why I bosomed the band, which plays a little more popular music, but it's enough to think of their last five records and my slight scepticism is

already over. In my opinion they play and played also in the past an individual, but enjoyable rock music. While in the past the blues-like topics gave the majority, in the meantime the songs with immediate catching melodies - excluded in any categories - are the typical, with magnificiant slow-rhythm songs they can conquer all the radio-networks one after the other also with their listeners. The luck struck not only me, regarding Aerosmith… Last time when they were here, there was one of my lucky acquaintances, who could meet personally the three-fifth of the band during their work. Collective photo - the band also had one of it -, mutual signings, short and direct chat, extremely nice, direct people …. In a nut-shell. Nem mai banda az Aerosmith, hiszen az első lemezük 1973 –ban jelent meg, és azóta sok mindenen átment a banda, de sikerük, a mai napig töretlen. A két meghatározó egyénisége a bandának Steven Tyler énekes és Joe Perry gitáros. Aerosmith is not of a modern band, as their first record was published in 1973, since that time lots of things happened to the band; but their success until today is undiminished. Two significant individuals of the band are Steven Tyler,singer and Joe Perry guitarist. Szóval, nem tudván, hogy lesznek e nálunk, vagy legalább valahol a közelünkben a közeli jövőben, ezért fontolóra vettem, hogy érdemes lenne elmenni egy Aerosmith tribute banda műsorát megnézni a Wigwamba. So, as I do not know if they can be seen again over here or nearby in the immediate future, I thought it over if it's worth to see the program of Aerosmith tribute band in Wigwam. Aki volt a Kowalsky meg a Vega bulin egy héttel ezelőtt, az láthatott egy klipet az Eurosmith-től. Hát nem mondom, az énekes igencsak hasonlít Tyler-re, és remek a hangja, de hát ugye ott a zenei alapokat stúdióban játszották fel, lássuk mit produkálnak élőben? Lesz e hátra szaltó a színpadon, amit Tyler még 1994 – ben is megcsinált az MTK Stadionban. Those could watch a clip of Eurosmith, who were at the Kowalsky- and Vega-party a week before. Take my word for it! The singer, with magnificiant voice , is really similar to Tyler , but the musical basics were recorded in a studio; so let us think what they can do live? Will be any back somersault on the stage, which was turned by Tyler still in 1994 in MTK Stadium.

Lássuk hány ember lesz kíváncsi egy Aerosmith tribute zenekarra egy borongós szombati nap után. Mielőtt 22:35–kor megdörrent a Candy Shop a színpadon, Mötley Crüe klippek szórakoztatták a körülbelül negyedházas közönséget. Mivel én nem ismerem a Candy Shop-ot, így röviden csak annyit, hogy Őket MC tribute bandaként ismerik, akik ismerik. Úgy tűnik a mai este a tribute bandáké… Programjuk a Dr. Feelgood -al indult, és mivel ez a lemez nekem is megvan (igaz bakeliten, így mostanában nem hallgattam), így gyorsan elöl találtam magam. Már a második nótánál kiderült, hogy nem egy egyszerű tribute banda a Candy Shop, mivel saját nótákat is nyomnak, többek között a Lehetnél című dalukat is játszották, melynek klipje megtekinthető a www.candyshopband.hu címen. Let's see how many people will be curious for an Aerosmith tribute band after a gloomy Saturday. The clips of Mötley Crüe entertained the audience of the quarter-house, before Candy Shop thundered on the stage at 22:35. As I don't know Candy Shop, just a short info about them – they are known as MC tribute band, who really knows them. It seems that this evening is for the tribute bands….. Their program started with Dr. Feelgood, as I have also this record (it's true just on a bakelite one), I was in the first row in a short time. As far as their second song it turned out that Candy Shop is not a simply tribute band as they also played their own songs, e.g. "You can be" among the others and its clip can be seen on www.candyshopband.hu .

A saját nótákon kívül hallhattuk a Live wire, Same ol' situation, Save our souls, Kick start my heart, zárásképpen pedig a Shout out the devil című MC„örökzöldeket". A banda felállása: Sidd – ének, Jódli – dob, Tomy – gitár, Steew – basszusgitár. Besides their own songs we could hear Live wire, Same ol' situation, Save our souls, Kick start my heart, and at last Shout out the devil, as an MC "evergreen" . The stand up of the band is: Sidd – singing, Jódli – drums, Tomy – guitarist, Steeq – bass guitarist. Sokan nem szeretik a Tribute bandákat, úgy tartják, még egy bőrt húznak le a híres eredetikről. Engem sem lehet a rajongók közé sorolni, de a színvonalas produkciókat értékelni kell. Nem kerülhető el az összehasonlítás egyik ilyen jellegű banda esetében sem. Aki ezt bevállalja, az sokat készül a produkcióra, mert nagyon nehéz megfelelni. Szerintem a tribute bandák igyekeznek a számukra is nagy kedvencet, a saját és a közönség szórakoztatására minél jobban játszani, időt, energiát fektetnek abba, hogy egy profi műsort csináljanak a számukra oly nagy becsben tartott együttes dalaival, ezzel inkább a tiszteletüket mutatják ki, reményem és véleményem szerint. Lots of people do not like Tribute bands, as they think just one more skin is fleeced from the famous originals. I'm either not counted amoung the fans, but the top-class show must be appreciated. The comparison of these types of bands can not be avoided. The One, who undertakes it must prepare for the show a lot, because it's not easy to meet the requirements. In my opinion the tribute bands do their best to play the favourite band as good as possible for the sake of their own and their audience. They devote all their energies and time to give a real good show with the songs of their highly-appreciated band. According to my hopes and opinion this way they can just show their respect.

Véleményem szerint nem volt rossz a Candy Shop, és, hogy külsőre mennyire hasonlítnak a nagy kedvencükre, döntse el mindenki maga a képek alapján. As I see it, Candy Shop wasn't bad. Everybody can decide using the pictures how similar they were to their highly-appreciated favourite in their exteriors. 23:40-kor húzódott szét a függöny a színpadon, és tárult elénk az Eurosmith színpadképe. Persze mindenki az énekesre volt kíváncsi, Ő pedig, hogy fokozza a hangulatot, háttal kezdte a koncertet… a hang, rendben van, lássuk a külsőt! Tényleg meghökkentő a hasonlóság mind a külső, mind az énekhang terén. Steven Tyler egyedi, nem utánozható – gondoltam - , de a képeket nézve változtatok a véleményemen. A banda hangzása rendben, a felállás szintén Aerosmith–es, 2 gitár, dob, ének, plusz ráadásként, kiegészítve egy billentyűssel. A nóták, ahogy azt várni lehet igazi best of válogatást képviselnek. A srácok végigjátszották a kezdeti lemezektől egészen a legutóbbi lemezekig a repertoárt. The curtain on the stage rose at 23:40 and the scene of Eurosmith unfolded before us. Of course, everybody was curious to see the singer, so He – to increase the atmosphere – started the concert with his back to the audience… the voice is O.K., so let's see his exterior. It's really shocking to see the similarity either in exterior or in case of his voice. Steven Tyler is an individual and can not be imitated – I thought - , but I have to change my mind looking at the pictures. The sounds of the band is all right, the stand up is also like Aerosmith, 2 guitars, drums, singing, and an extra keyboard. The songs – as we expected – were the best of selection. The guys played the repertoir fully from the first record till the last ones.

A kezdés a hetvenes évekkel indult, Toys in the attic. Tyler imitálása szinte tökéletes, a mozgás, a fellépő ruha, a mikrofon állvány dobálása, a mikrofon állvány kezelése, szóval nem kevés munka van ebben az előadás módban. Az első nóták azzal teltek, hogy csak bámultam ki a fejemből mosolyogva, és pislogtam. Hiába kezdtek bele a Love in an elevator–ba, nem tudtam a zenére koncentrálni. Amikor elfogadtam az énekes hasonlóságát, feltűnt, hogy az egyik gitáros, ugyan nem olyan mértékben, mint az énekes esetében, de hasonlít Perry gitárosra. The beginning started in the seventies, Toys in the attic. The imitation of Tyler is almost perfect, the moving, the clothes, the throwing of the microphone, handling the microphone stand – so there's a lot of work in this performing method. During the first songs I was just gloating over with a smile on my face. They have started "Love in an elevator" in vain, as I couldn't concentrate on it. By the time I accepted the singer's similarity, I recognized the guitarist's similarity to Perry, the guitarist – though not the same degree.

A Mama kin című dalnál kezdtem a zenére is figyelni, akkorra túltettem magam a látványon. A játszott nóták : Same old song and dance, Walk this way, Cryin', Livin' on the edge, Pink - remek szájharmonika betéttel. A dalok jól szóltak, és ez a hangzás nekem bejött. A dalokból, így élőben elmaradt a lemezen megszokott „nem gitárhangzások", a gitárok és a dob uralta az összes számot. Vastagon, dögösen, „sallangmentesen", jó énekteljesítménnyel szóltak az Aerosmith nóták. I started to listen to the music at the song of "Mama kin" as by that time I was over the scenery. The played songs were: Same old song and dance, Walk this way, Cryin', Livin' on the edge, Pink – inserted a fantastic harmonica play. The songs sounded good and I really enjoyed them. They didn't include – because of the live concert – "the non-guitarist sounds" used on the record; so the guitar and the drum dominated. The Aerosmith songs were concentrated, cool, without any flourish, but with good singing performance.

Az este rombolták a hallásunkat a következő Aerosmih szerzeményekkel is : What it takes, Rag doll – basszusgitár szólóval, The other side - 4 gitárral!, Dude (looks) like a lady, Road Runner, Sweet emotion és nem saját nótaként egy kis Peter gun betét. Itt köszöntek el először a közönségtől a srácok, kezdődött a ráadás: Get a grip, egy remek cilinderben, Dream on (nem erőltetve a magas hangokat), I don't wanna miss a thing, Train Kept A Rollin', végezetül a Let the music do the talking. During the evening the following Aerosmith songs could "destroy" our hearings: : What it takes, Rag doll – with bass guitar solo, The other side – with 4 guitars!, Dude (looks) like a lady, Road Runner, Sweet emotion and a song insert of Peter gun, as not their own ones. Here was the first saying good-bye, then the encore started: Get a grip - a super song in a silk hat, Dream on (not forcing the shrill sounds) I don't wanna miss a thing, Train Kept A Rollin' , and at last Let the music do the talking.

Hosszú idő óta az első zenekar, aki nem nézte az órát, hanem engedve a közönség kérésének többször is visszajött. Nekem úgy tűnt, hogy Ők is jól érezték magukat a színpadon, ahogy a közönség is a színpad előtt. Rég hallgattam ennyi ideig Aerosmith-et, hiszen nem a szokásos 1,5 órát játszották a srácok. Inkább a két órás időtartamhoz közelített a műsor. Mivel bemutatás nem volt, így a neten www.eurosmith.net néztem utána a bandának. (Ezt javaslom másnak is, hiszen itt mozgó képek segítenek meggyőzni mindenkit, hogy érdemes elmenni az Eurosmith koncertre annak, aki csillapítani akarja az Aerosmith utáni étvágyát.) A zenekar tagjai: Danilo Arnaldi – dob, Marco Paris – gitár, Luca Celletti– ének, Marco Valeriani – gitár, Aleks Ferrara – basszusgitár. (Billentyűsnek két nevet adtak, meg, sajnos nem sikerült beazonosítani, hogy Andrea Nofri vagy Raoul Battilani volt nálunk… ) For a long time this is the first band, who did not peep at the watch and came back repeatedly for the request of the audience. It seemed to me that they also enjoyed themselves on the stage, as did the audience before the stage. It was a long time since I listened to Aerosmith so long; as they didn't play the usual one and half hours. This show was almost 2 hour-long. As there was no introduction, I checked the band on the net at www.eurosmith.net ( I suggest it to everybody, here the pictures can help us convincing it is worth to go an Eurosmith concert – who'd like to decrease the longing for Aerosmith). The members of the band are: Danilo Arnaldi – drum, Marco Paris – guitar, Luca Celletti – singing, Marco Valeriani – guitar, Aleks Ferrara – bass guitar. (There were two names given for keyboard

player and unfortunately I was unable to identify whether Andrea Nofri or Raoul Battilani was on the stage at us….)

Szerintem érdemes volt rászánni ezt az estét az Eurosmith–re, annak ellenére, hogy Luca Cellett énekes nem hátraszaltózott a színpadon, és bízom benne, hogy valamelyik nyári európai fellépésüket sikerül megnéznem az Aerosmithnek is. According to my opinion it was worth to be there with Eurosmith for the whole evening, inspite of the lack of somersault of Luca Celletti on the stage.
