1. Applicants without level 3 or above in TOPIK at the time of application
are required to sit for written examination at Jukjeon campus
※ N/A to English Track applicants. Please refer to pg. 11 for more
details on the exemption of written examination
2. The details of the examination will be posted on the DKU
web-site(http://ipsi.dankook.ac.kr) 3 days before the exam day.
3. The test verification slip and ID card (Passport, Certificate of alien
registration) must be carried on the exam day
4. However, if the Coronavirus outbreak is still serious and widespread in
Korea, written examination can be omitted and admission selection will be
fully dependent on the oral interview,

Interview

1. The interview will be conducted at Jukjeon Campus, and it is for
applicants who successfully passed the above steps
2. The test verification slip and ID card (Passport, Certificate of alien
registration) must be carried on the interview day
3. In accordance with the situation of Coronavirus outbreak,, the interview
can be replaced to online interview (Skype)
Final Announcement Jul 31, 2020The final result of successful applicants will be announced on the DKU

Tuition PaymentJul 31 ~ Aug 4, 2020

1. Print out a letter of acceptance and tuition invoice from DKU admission

04 Eligibility and Requirements
[Important Notice!]
※ Applying for both Jukjeon and Cheonan Campus is not allowed.
※ Applicant with Multi-nationality or Non-nationality is not eligible. ※ Taiwanese applicant whose one parent is Taiwanese nationality is eligible to apply.
※ Accepting only high schools legally approved and accredited by Ministry Of Education in the country they belong to
※ Overseas Applicants finishing a graduation qualification exam for college entrance are not allowed to apply.

Classification Requirements
Citizenship • Both the applicant and the applicant’s parent(s) must be non-Korean citizens.
Academic Standards The applicant must complete regular primary and secondary education, equivalent to Grade 1 to 12 in Korean education system, either in Korea or overseas.
Language Requirements
• Minimum language proficiency requirements: TOPIK score level 3 ※ The applicants holding government scholarship or recommended by the president (Dean) of the sister universities are eligible to apply with TOPIK score 1 or above. The applicants applying for College of Arts and Sports are eligible with TOPIK score level 2. (TOPIK score level 3 or above is required for Transfer applicants)(Please check other requirements described on page 16.)

The transfer applicants should meet all matriculation requirements(including freshman and transfer admission)
Sophomore Transfer
• The equivalent of two semesters (a year) and 33 credits(4 year university in Korea)
• The equivalent of two semesters (a year) and 1/4 graduation credits(4 year university outside Korea)
• two year College graduate or graduate to be (both in and out of Korea)
Junior Transfer • The equivalent of four semesters (2 years) and 65 credits(4 year university in Korea)• The equivalent of four semesters (2 years) and 1/2 graduation credits(4 year university outside Korea)
• two year College graduate or graduate to be (both in and out of Korea)
※ The applicants under government scholarship or recommended by the president (Dean) of the sister universities are eligible to apply with the TOPIK score level 1 or above. ※ The applicants for College of Arts and Sports are eligible to apply with TOPIK score level 2 (Only applicable to freshmen applicants(n/a for transfer applicants)) ※ Graduation from universities unauthorized by education or relevant law of those countries will not be accepted. ※ Applicants for College of Arts(except the Department of New Music) in Cheonan Campus , should have corresponding/relevant

Examination Contents
• The examination will be conducted on Jul 11, 2020 (10:00 ~ 11:20).
• The exam venue will be announced prior to the exam day
• The written examination is consisted of Multiple choice questions.
• The pass mark is 60 out of 100 points.
[However, if the Corona 19 become serious, the written exam can be omitted]

Interview Contents
• The examination will be conducted on Jul 25, 2020 (10:00 ~ )
• Interview venue will be announced after the written examination
• Communicative skills in Korean and general topic
• English Interview: (Only for International Business Administration & Mobile System Engineering students)
[However, if the Corona 19 become serious, it can be replaced by a video interview]
□ Review Notes A. Applicants below the eligibility standards, incomplete document submitters, absentees for the interview,
malpractitioner, and unconfirmed ID owners will be excluded from the review process.
B. The applicants who does not hold Korean permanent residency, and are not able to come to the
interview, video interview will be arranged for them, but it will be executed under the same condition
like any other applicants in chosen time and place.
C. The applicants having a written examination result of under 60 marks (out of 100) will not be accepted.
D. The applicants having an interview test result of under 60 marks (out of 100 ) will not be accepted.
E. For the items unspecified on the admission information outline, the principles of admission for the
foreign students will be applied.

• A successful applicant who submitted a graduation due certificate at the time of application period, are required to submit a Graduation Certificate, Academic Transcripts and the Online Validation Report issued by Chinese Ministry of Education.
※ Failure to submit the required document will result in cancelation of the acceptance. 2) Non-Chinese Nationality
All applicants must submit the original copy of "the Apostille Certificate" or "Consular Confirmation" from the Korean consular(in person or sending by registered post) in the country where the high school or college is located.
B. All the submitted documents should be original copies. If not, those documents should be verified by the originating organization or admission team at the DKU international affairs office. After acceptance, the original copy should be submitted.
C. All the foreign language documents except English and Korean should be submitted with their notarized English or Korean version.
D. In cases in which there are very special circumstances, such as early graduation of excellent students, skipping a grade, or discarded data of enrollment, applicants should have documents issued by the relevant schools and submit it before the application deadline.
E. In cases where applicants have a different name from the name on the document, they have to submit a document from the relevant government organization to confirm their identities.
F. There will be an individual request to submit an additional document during the admission review, if necessary.
G. The submitted documents will not be returned to applicants. H. Financial Certification

08 Important Notes for Applicants
□ Online Application Reception
1. Please be reminded to check carefully before making a payment of online application as all the
input details including applying major is not adjustable once the online application is successfully
completed.
2. The application will be come into an effect immediately once the payment of application fee is
successfully made and all applicants will be given the test identification slip with a personal
candidate registration number which to be printed out and carried with ID card (Passport or
Certificate of Alien Registration) on the day of written exam and interview.
3. Mistakes in registering wrong application details including personal information, spelling mistakes
are candidate’s own responsibility.
4. Test identification slip can be downloaded and printed out through DKU admission home page
5. Online application is unable to be cancelled
6. The submitted documents (including review expenses) are not to be returned, and after registering the

acceptance, etc) caused by wrong contact details will be the applicants' responsibility.

□ Document Submission
1. Admission will be revoked if the application form or submitted documents are found as including
false or dishonest information, even for the students been already admitted to university.
2. DKU will only provide certificate of admission(COA) for visa application of successful candidates
and it is the students’ own responsibility to get a student visa. Failure in receiving a student visa
will result in cancellation of admission.
3. All applicants shall fully cooperate with any inquiries related to applicant’s academic background
from DKU.

1. All the matters unspecified on the admission information outlines will be handled with the
principles of freshmen admission regulations, and the admission test result will not be publicized.
2. On the test day candidates are not allowed to carry any wireless device (mobile phone, MPs, etc)
or electronic dictionary into the test venue, and any revealed case will be treated as cheating.
3. All applicants should carry their test identification slip, ID card (passport, certificate of alien
