“Easy to use” as sub-microcontroller

In the even that I/O ports, A/D converters, etc. in the ASIC or main microcontroller are insufficient due to changes in system specifications or additional functions, these functions can be supplemented as a sub-microcontroller.

Under changing system specifications, I want a low pin count microcontroller forcontrolling A/D converter and I/O ports…

The standby current of ASIC or main microcontroller is too large and does not meet the required power consumption…

“Easy to use” for reducing power consumption

If the standby current of the ASIC or main microcontroller is large, the MB95200 can be utilized to manage this power supply.System standby current can be reduced by turning the ASIC or main microcontroller power supply off while in system standby and using the MB95200 for standby.

Max 16.25MHz, with minimum instruction execution time of 61.5ns!The F2MC-8FX CISC CPU mounted in the MB95200 series has a maximum operating frequency of 16.25 MHz and minimum instruction execution time of 61.5ns, delivering superior CPU core performance for an 8-bit CPU. Furthermore, the number of cycles of each instruction has been optimized to deliver the required processing capacity at relatively low frequencies, thus contributing to reducing the power consumption of the system.

Composite timer with selectable functions!The “composite timer” built-in timer function can be programmatically selected from PWM, PWC, interval timer, and input capture functions for each channel, making it able to flexibly support a variety of system requirements.

High reliability flash memory with 20 year data retention and security functionThis series is equipped with high reliability flash memory delivering guaranteed 20 year data retention and 100,000 rewrite cycles. Furthermore, this is also equipped with a flash security function for preventing unauthorized external reading of the program, which can protect your software.

development to writing to Flash memory for mass production. The “BGM adapter” in-circuit emulator delivers

one-wire on-chip debugging up to on-board writing during mass production.

The “MB2146-420A-01-E” starter kit provides an evaluation board, BGM adapter, and evaluation version of

SOFTUNE in one package. This kit also includes the application notes and sample programs, making it easy to
