noblest leaders of our country. in this month

namely Mahatma Gandhiji is the "Father of our

Nation" and A.P.J. Abdul Kalam the Father of

Missiles'. Many important days such as World

Nature Day, UNO Day and National Integration

Day also occur in this month. This both

personalities were the lovers of nature and

promoters of peace and National Integration.

Kalam is popularly known as the People's

President. The entire life jouney of Dr. Kalam

has been a great inspiration for each one of us.

He was a great Indian Scientist and a

benevolent politician who served India as the

President from the year 2002 to 2007. The basic

factors behind a good character are love,

patience, tolerance, compassion and mutual

concern. They were noted for their simple life

style.

Gandhiji followed non-violence and Ahimsa.

He is also called "Father of the Nation" or

"Rashrapita". We also fondly call him "Bapu". He

was used to wear only a simple dhoti in all

weathers. He was the greatest leader of India

ever had. He was also the greatest champion of

freedom. Bapu was a great soul and a great

freedom fighter. His favourite timepass was

spinning yarn on Chakra.

Gandhiji had strong determination and will power to conquer the British in India. Kalam's self confidence led him to conquer heights in his life endeavours let us follow their foot print.
