Artista per nascita. Architetto per vocazione. Designer per passione.Una personalità complessa e ricca di numerose sfaccettature.Il suo progetto prevede la fusione di queste tre anime all’interno di una nuova “visione”, quella dell’art design.

Questo termine, che ormai usa da molti anni per definire il suo lavoro, vive oggi un momento di popolarità.Accomuna tutti coloro che, come lui, credono nella possibilità di creare prodotti indipendenti dal mercato e dalle mode e per questo in grado di sopravviverne.

L’aspirazione alla creazione e la “passione del fare” dell’artista trovano riscontro e complicità nel lavoro dell’artigiano.La professionalità dell’architetto coordina il progetto all’interno della “visione”.Il designer, infine , la progetta concretamente rendendo fruibile a tutti un pensiero che per sua natura tenderebbe all’astrazione.

Nascono così opere incompiute che l’artigiano e l’artista rendono uniche.Il progetto ha generato la “visione” e questa “visione” si chiama Oblòdesign.Fabio Masotti nasce, vive e produce esclusivamente in Italia.

Natural born artist; inspired architect; passion fed designer. A complex personality rich in variety. His project sees the fusion of the three characteristic traits as the ultimate goal of a new conception – a “vision” - that of art design. This term, which for many years has been used to define his works, is now peaking in popularity. It brings together all those who believe in independent products that don’t follow the passing trends and fashions and that in this manner are able to live on through time.

The passion for the acts of physically forming, shaping and creating pieces of art merges seamlessly with the artisans who work by hand. The architect’s job is therefore to simply co-ordinate the projects under the headings of the “vision”.And the designer, finally, creates a tactile product by taking the abstract form conceived and creating from it a concrete piece of art for all to appreciate.

It is through this method that unique pieces are born. The project has formed the “vision” - and the “vision” is Oblòdesign.Fabio Masotti was born, has lived and works exclusively in Italy.
