existing SCADA system (ABB’s Spider/AREVA system) to the new OSI monarch system. The project involves the building of the HMI (Single line diagrams), creating the various SCADA application databases, configuring the Front End Processors (FEPs) with RTUs and other field devices and testing the control mechanism with RTUs that communicate through various standard industry protocols.

Prime Responsibilities:o Accountable for:

Installation, configuration and deployment of the database of various application modules of SCADA system software.

Successfully Done the PreFAT and FAT for the complete SCADA EMS system. HMI building and Linking Displays to various databases of SCADA applications (like

OpenSCADA, OpenFEP, Open AGC, OpenNet). Network/EMS/AGC database building, topology and system security analysis and their

testing. Dynamic linking of the SLD’s through the network (EMS) database. Tuning and troubleshooting of various EMS modules like power flow, State estimator etc. Configuration and management of SCADA EMS and OTS database. Design, planning, integration, testing and commissioning of hardware and software

requirements for customers based on client specification – for SCADA/EMS/DMS projects. Configuration and analyzing the solutions of Power flow and state estimator and hence

analyzing the bad data of the system and it’s solution. Simulation of application through OTS (operator training simulator), State estimation and

contingency analysis of the network system.

Secondary Responsibility: Point to point testing at control center from RTU/CCC panel to Master station of the

electrical substation communicating through different protocol like IEC 101, IEC104 etc. Configuration/troubleshooting of communication hardware and server like FEP (front end

processor) to communicate with master scada system, both on Master station as well as on site.

Establishing/Designing the communication between Scada control center and the emergency control center through the front end processor to ensure the RTU communication in failure of main control center.

Establishing communication between Master System and Remote RTU’s. System training to engineers/clients. Migration planning to new SCADA System.

Key Highlights: Solved the problem related to Configuration of EMS/SCADA server at customer site. Successfully delivered the complete SCADA EMS/AGC/DMS system to the client (FEWA). Successfully done the FAT and SAT for the SCADA EMS system. Efficiently simulated the environment for testing of hundreds of MODBUS protocol supported

meters simultaneously through modbus simulator executable to analyse the load test on the application.

Transmission system through our software (Windows and Web Based). Provided software solutions to big electrical utilities like NDPL, WBSEB, MESCOM, GESCOM,

and dialup (GSM) and GPRS mode of communication.o Took readings of the meters on remote location for the meters installed at the Site/Field (UK
