Once upon a time, there was a mermaid. Ariel was her name and she lived deep under the sea where no man had ever gone. She is the daughter of King Triton. She loved exploring all around the vast sea.

Ariel has always dreamed of going to live on the land. She even has a collection of different objects from the land. Her best friend is a fish named Flounder and a bird named Scuttle. Scuttle looks on land for objects that people no longer want and Ariel can have.

King Triton thinks that people are evil and that she should no longer think about going to the surface because it will never happen. He sends Sebastian the crab to look over her and make sure she does not do anything stupid.

One day there was a terrible storm. Ariel was already at the surface watching as a massive ship was being played with in the water by the storm. Right as she was about to leave, she saw a man be thrown from the ship.

She decided to rescue him from the rough waters and carried him ashore. From there she proceeded to sing him a song and then hurry and swim away. The sailor only saw a glimpse of her face before she swam away but he would always remember her voice.

Ariel wanted nothing more than to see the sailor again, so she went to an evil queen that made an offer she could not refuse. In exchange for her puncturing a hole in the BP Oil Rig and kissing the sailor she would be able to walk on land. If she did not make a hole in three days and kiss the sailor she would turn back into a mermaid and become her slave.

So Ariel set of on her mission to find the sailor, kiss him, and then make a hole in the BP Oil Rig. The queen had other plans though she she disguised herself as a very attractive woman and tried to make the sailor fall in love with her.

This plan did not work because the sailor loved Ariel so much but the queen had a plan B. She would transform into the boss of the Rig and stop Ariel from making a hole in the rig. Right as the clock was about to strike for midnight and her time be up Ariel was able to poke a hole in the massive rig. This caused a big chain of explosions.

She thought to herself, I will be with the sailor forever. Little did she know, the queen had a plan C. If things didn’t work the oil that was released from the rig would kill all the mermaids and all the creatures in the sea. This plan worked.

The queen then took over as ruler of the sea and Ariel didn’t know a thing about what had happened. One day she saw Flounder. She went over to talk to him and he didn’t move. She also noticed he was covered in a black liquid. It turned out she had killed her best friends and her dad.

This then brought her to tremendous sadness and she thought what had she done, so she jumped back in the water and turned into a mermaid. Ariel was never heard from again and the queen still rules the seas.
