/住民登録届Non- dorm students have to visit city office by yourself!!!Dorm students : Residents of Waseda University Student House(早⼤寮) orWaseda Houshien(奉仕園) or Nishi-Waseda International Student House (⻄早稲⽥寮)

• Must register your address in Japan within 14days afterentering Japan.

• Registration can be done at your local city office.• 日本入国後14日以内に、居住地の区役所の「住⺠課」で住⺠登録をし、在留カードの裏⾯に住所を印字してもらう。

• 新宿区在住なら新宿区役所で登録

• All residence with valid visa must enroll even if you are enrolled in a privateinsurance .

• Your National Health Insurance card will be mailed to you• 70% off discount for medical expenses at hospital.• Monthly insurance fee must be paid by individual subscriber (invoice will be

mailed to you)

How to get Commuter Pass1. Get your student ID card at academic orientation/faculty office. They will stick

a sticker on your student ID card to confirm your address.2. Go to the station office with your student ID and fill in a commuter application

form. You will have options of 1month 3months and 6 months. For a yearprogram students, you can continue the commuter pass after 6 months

資格外活動許可申請

• Must apply for “Work Permit” if you wish to do a part-time job.• Part-time job must not exceed 28 hrs/week.• Prohibited from working in entertainment and amusement businesses

and sex-related businesses.This includes working as a dishwasher or cleaner in ‘snack’ (sunakku)bars, nightclubs, and bars or cafes that serve food and drink to customers whileentertaining them.

• アルバイトをする人は資格外活動許可申請が必要• アルバイトができる時間は28時間/週• ⾵俗営業や⾵俗関連営業が⾏われる場所でのアルバイトは禁⽌スナック、ナイトクラブ、客の接待をして飲⾷させるバー・喫茶店など では皿洗いや掃除をすることも禁止されています。

What to do after quake hits/地震が発生したら

1. Extinguish all fire sources./消火する

2. Open a door /window to secure an escape route.

4. Do not rush outside as there may be falling objects.

There are many general residents who live in the

apartments around Bldg.# 22.

22号館周辺での飲酒、喫煙はもちろん、深夜に

集団で⼤声で話すなどの近所迷惑⾏為は厳禁です

Nuisance to the neighbors, such as Smoking, Drinking

alcohol, Talking loudly at midnight are strictly prohibited.

• Club activities（部活） are more strict, circles （サークル）are for having a fun.

• For international students, introduce two circles:

WIC & Nijinokai / WIC, 虹の会の紹介

• Waseda University also has an official office for culturalexchange, International Communication Center (ICC)
