Shanghai sits at the mouth of the

Yangtze River, the longest river in China.

It is the largest Chinese city, economic

and financial center and "a city of

skyscrapers".

With a history of more than 700 years,

Shanghai was once the financial center

of the Far East. Today, Shanghai is the

largest economic and transportation

center in China.

Contributing to arouse people’s awareness of social issues through the trainings and events we are providing

On Shanghai’s way of developing into an international and prosperous city,Shanghai has left many problems, of which a very important one is theincreasing number of empty-nesters. The aged are left home alone, feelinglonely, drown in domestic chores, lost interest in new things and even getalzheimers. Volunteers in community schools for the aged in Shanghai willhelp change it!
