Helen went peacefully tobe with her Lord andSavior with family at herside at Borgess Hospitalon Thursday, February 7,2013 after a short illness.

Helen was born on May 26, 1923, theyoungest of six children, in Chicago toBarbara and Joseph Bodnar. Helen workedat Bell Telephone, Illinois, and was alsoemployed at the Chez-Paree TheatreRestaurant. In 1949 she wed Cornelius (Bud)Kiewiet and moved to Kalamazoo, MI. Budpreceded her in death in 1992. They had fourchildren together, Joan (Carl) Zayatz,Lansing, MI; Gordon Kiewiet, Albion, IN; GailKiewiet, who preceded her in death; and Don(Rhonda) Kiewiet, Plainwell, MI; three cher-ished grandchildren, Gordon Kiewiet,Hastings, MI; Kelly (Dave) Cochrane,Rosemary Beach, FL; and CassandraKiewiet, Plainwell, MI. Cremation has takenplace. There will be no service at this time. Afamily memorial will be held in the nearfuture.

Susan passed away unexpectedly at herhome on Wednesday, February 7, 2013.Susan was born November 13, 1953 inPlainwell to Jerry and Neva (Thaxton) Annis.For the last 20 years Susan had beenemployed by Parker Hannifin in Otsego. Inher leisure time she enjoyed riding quads,playing with her dogs, listening to music, tar-get shooting and spending time with her fam-ily and friends. Susan is survived by herdaughter, Brandy Annis of Otsego; sister,Sherry (Dan) Collins; brother, Terry Annis andby several nieces and nephews. She was pre-ceded in death by her parents. Cremationhas taken place. In lieu of flowers contribu-tions in memory of Susan may be made tothe Allegan County Humane Society.

She was pre-ceded in death by two brothers and a sister,William Keene, Evelyn Truax and EdwardKeene; and a daughter-in-law, KelenePearson.
