Med sin nya tredje pla a Trial By Fire är Skövdes stoltheter Mean Streak llbaka och det rejält! Och som en försmak ll albumet kommer först singeln ” Shine On”.

E er de två föregående albumen Metal Slave (2009) och Declara on Of War (2011) har bandet begåvats med en ny gitarrist, ny bokningsbolag & nu också en ny pla a.

Sedan förra skivan och med llhörande turné som bland annat tog bandet ll Japan har fokus legat på låtskrivande. Det senaste året har llbringats i studion där hårt arbete,

blod sve och tårar nu le fram ll denna milstolpe i bandets karriär.

Thomas "Plec" Johansson, välkänd producent inom svensk och interna onell metal ingår numera som gitarrist i bandet och har även spelat in albumet.

The last dance is usually something special. Something that you do not forget easily or forgo lightly. So it usually stays in your memory for a longer me, if you think back to an eve-ning. And this me, our choice for last dance are the Swedes from Covenant: their limited edi on six track EP “Last Dance” services as the impressive acous c entréewith which Covenant report back from their studio in Helsingborg, Sweden, to open up for their forthcoming album “Leaving Babylon”. On this “Last Dance”, that Covenant dedicate to us, we will surely remember, as it makes the dancefloor collapse, and lets us fall into a chaos of babylonic propor ons.“We are not leaving Babylon, not yet.” This is the Covenant slogan for the forthcoming campaign and it includes a shimmer of hope amidst all the chaos and confusion.

The band itself, is now fully swedish again, a er Daniel Myer from Haujobb le the band last year and has been replaced by Andreas Catjar. Together the Swedes are finding their way away from Babylon, from our system of disinforma on and desorienta on.

Two years have passed by since “Modern Ruin” Covenants last Album. Two years that Covenant have used intensively for a be er songwri ng and new songs.
