Hey Cool Cats and Chicks, On behalf of the Rockin’ for Missions Auction Committee (the people wearing arm bands or headbands) welcome and thank you for attend-ing tonight’s event! It is our pleasure to create this opportunity for all of us to put our faith in action by providing financial support for the missions and outreach projects of the United Methodist Church. The committee thanks Pastor Reyes for his active support, and the entire congregation for its generosity and time. Many of you wrote sponsorship checks, donated items, offered events and dinners, set up computers, cooked, and volunteered for many jobs. We are grateful to all of you! Rockin’ for Missions can only be successful with your generosity. Your purchases tonight are essential to helping countless people around the world and in our own community. We have been cho-sen to make this world a better place for everyone. Tonight is the time to get to rockin’ and make a difference. Please give freely remembering that all that we give comes back to us many fold. Peace, Love, and Charity, Susan Friend, Chairperson Rockin’ for Missions

THE HAPPENIN’
SPECIAL EVENTS AND DINNERS - Pages 5 - 8
These are truly exceptional activities, hosted by members of our church family. If
you would like to attend one (or more) of the events, sign up on the sheet and pay
for it when you check out. Event and dinner sponsors will contact you prior to the
event with specific details.
SILENT AUCTION - Pages 9 - 26
Use the silent auction bid sheets to record your paddle number, name, table num-
ber, and phone number. The highest bid takes the item home! Check back from
time-to-time to be sure you still have the highest bid. Minimum raise amounts are
noted on each bid sheet. The silent auction tables will close heat by heat, starting
at 6:10 p.m. See schedule for details—page 3. Closings will be announced in ad-
vance. You will receive notice of the items you have won. Claim them after you
check out.
FLAT RATE ITEMS - Pages 27 - 38
Select items along with many gift cards and certificates, donated by local busi-
nesses and attractions, will be sold at face value. Please patronize our donors and
thank them for supporting the Rockin’for Missions and Auction.
Claim your items after you check out.
LIVE AUCTION - Pages 39 - 42
Live auction items are displayed on the stage. Please come up for a look before the
bidding begins. Auctioneers will start items at a suggested minimum, and continue
until the auctioneer closes the bidding and announces the highest bidder. To bid,
raise your flower power paddle!
RAISE YOUR PADDLE Here’s your chance to offer a monetary gift to the mission effort. The auctioneer
will ask for donations in specific denominations, which will be announced prior to
bidding. Raise your paddle proudly when the amount that fits your bid is called.
Keep your paddle in the air while the recorders document all bids.
CHECK OUT The cashier’s table is located in the Susanna Wesley Room - just outside the west
entrance to Fellowship Hall. Our cashiers will provide you with an invoice for all the
items you purchased. Payments can be made in cash, by check, or by VISA/
MASTERCARD. Payment is required before you receive the items you won.
Present your paid invoice to a Rockin’ for Missions volunteer after you pay to receive
your purchase and winnings.
