    EDITORIAL & CREATIVE TEAM

    FOUNDER/PUBLISHING DIRECTOR

    Art and design are the twin passions of Lisa Cohen. She

    studied art history at Barnard College from the architecture

    of the ancient Greeks to the modern works of artists such as

    Milton Avery, with a special love for the Old Masters. She held

    the staff positions of assistant architecture editor at House

    Beautifuland columnist at Interiors, while earning certification

    and a designer associates degree at the New York School

    of Interior Design. After having four children, Lisa was thehome editor of DuJourmagazine for two years. She has built

    an eclectic art collection and was the creative force behind

    several homes in New York, New Jersey and Palm Beach.

    Art permeates and influences design from homes to fashion,

    and Im so excited that with this magazine we can showcase

    artists from around the world, Lisa explains.

    SUZANNE SLESINEDITOR-IN-CHIEF

    Suzanne Slesin has been involved in the field of home design as

    an international journalist since the 1970s. Born in New YorkCity, she has degrees in the History of Art from Wellesley College

    and the Courtauld Institute of Art at London University. For 17

    years, she was an editor and reporter for the Home Section of The

    New York Timesand has been design editor of House & Garden,

    the editor-in-chief of HomeStyle, and the Editor of O at Home, an

    offshoot of O, the Oprah magazine. Slesin has also co-authored

    over 20 books on design and home furnishings, beginning with

    High-Tech: The Industrial Style and Source Book for the Home, and

    the innovative and trend-setting Style Books that include French

    Style, English Style, Caribbean Style, andJapanese Style, all pub-

    lished by Clarkson Potter, a division of Random House, Inc. In

    2002, Slesin founded Pointed Leaf Press to publish high quality,

    photography-driven monographs on personalities in the worlds of

    design, architecture, fashion, and art.

    FREDERICO FARINACREATIVE DIRECTOR

    Frederico Farina is the creative director of Pointed Leaf Press, an

    independent design, fashion, and art book publisher. Previously,he has been the VP creative director at Ann Taylor and Ann

    Taylor LOFT, the VP creative director at Rivet, an advertising

    agency in New York, as well as the director of visual communica-

    tions at Cole Haan. Farina began his career designing for various

    magazines, includingMetropolitan Home,Mirabella, and Interview.

    He has been the art director for numerous fashion brands, such

    as Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior, Bottega Veneta, Versace, and

    Abercrombie & Fitch.
