LAST MEETING Julia Soares ’20 tallied the only goal 5:28 into the sec- ond overme to lead Geysburg to a 1-0 win at Bryn Mawr last season. The Bullets led in shots 13-7 and held an 11-2 lead in penalty corners, but the Owls held the visitors out of the scoring column for 85 minutes as goalie Maggie Titus totaled three saves. Jillian Caputo ’20 logged three saves for Geysburg. LAST TIME OUT Geysburg blanked Stevenson 1-0 in a non-conference match up on Tuesday. Senior Julia Soares provided the game’s only goal 67 seconds into the game, knocking a loose ball between the goalie’s feet. The Bullets defense took care of the rest, holding the Mustangs to just four shots and three penalty corners. Senior goalie Jillian Ca- puto didn’t face a shot on goal on the way to her third shutout of the campaign. WHEN SOARES SCORES Over the last four seasons, Geysburg is 15-2 overall when senior Julia Soares scores a goal, including 5-0 this season. The senior has already matched her personal best for points in a season with seven goals and five assists. GOING ON LOCKDOWN Geysburg has held its opponents to just 29 shots over the last four oungs. The Owls took down Neumann 7-0 on during their Homecom- ing fesvies last weekend. Kelly Bergman scored a pair of goals and dished out an assist, while Meghan O’Shea scored twice.
