ALL-TIME SERIESGettysburg has won all 26 meetings with Bryn Mawr since the two institutions first met in 1993. Each of the last five contests have resulted in shutouts, but the mar-gin of victory has decreased in the last four outings, go-ing from 10-0 in 2015 to 1-0 last season.

LAST MEETINGJulia Soares ’20 tallied the only goal 5:28 into the sec-ond overtime to lead Gettysburg to a 1-0 win at Bryn Mawr last season. The Bullets led in shots 13-7 and held an 11-2 lead in penalty corners, but the Owls held the visitors out of the scoring column for 85 minutes as goalie Maggie Titus totaled three saves. Jillian Caputo ’20 logged three saves for Gettysburg.

LAST TIME OUTGettysburg blanked Stevenson 1-0 in a non-conference match up on Tuesday. Senior Julia Soares provided the game’s only goal 67 seconds into the game, knocking a loose ball between the goalie’s feet. The Bullets defense took care of the rest, holding the Mustangs to just four shots and three penalty corners. Senior goalie Jillian Ca-puto didn’t face a shot on goal on the way to her third shutout of the campaign.

WHEN SOARES SCORESOver the last four seasons, Gettysburg is 15-2 overall when senior Julia Soares scores a goal, including 5-0 this season. The senior has already matched her personal best for points in a season with seven goals and five assists.

GOING ON LOCKDOWNGettysburg has held its opponents to just 29 shots over the last four outings. The team has recorded four shut-outs, which is tied for the most over the last nine seasons.

SCOUTING BRYN MAWR...● Bryn Mawr is off to its best start in program history. The Owls took down Neumann 7-0 on during their Homecom-ing festivities last weekend. Kelly Bergman scored a pair of goals and dished out an assist, while Meghan O’Shea scored twice. The defense has allowed only two goals to non-ranked teams this season.
